Just installed my sstt too. Guess, there arent to many sstt tuned cars around here in Switzerland . Install was no problem, took me around 10 minutes. Power increase is there from the beginning. Throttle response is also improved which feels just great .
I am more than happy with this item until now.

Did you put your ECU to sleep or disconnect the battery?

Thanks..my SSTT is coming Wednesday I figured if I disconnect the battery I'll loose all my settings vs just putting the ECU to sleep via the "written procedure"

OK, I will give you some warm up questions on the SSTT2.
  1. How much HP?
  2. How much?
  3. When?
Easy...

Haha T Bone I like the straight approach. Also with the SSTT what is better to disconnect the battery or put the ECU to sleep? I heard a few cases when putting the ECU to sleep sometimes on
the 2nd3rd day it feels normal again, not the case with the battery disconnect. Is this correct?

What is this "put your ECU to sleep or disconnect the battery" that you guys speak of? I have never done anything other than to let the car cool down some and put the SSTT in. A few minutes later, I crank the car and speed off into the sunset. The first install, it took a day to really feel the increased power. This last time (after the SSTT had been un-installed and re-installed 2 days later) I felt the power within minutes of beginning the drive.

Am I doing something wrong here by not putting the ECU to sleep or disconnecting the battery? As far as I can tell, I'm having no problems whatsoever.

Oops!
I put it to sleep before install/removal. Lift hood, lock the doors then install/remove.
If you don't or disconnect the battery......there is a chance the dealer can tell you have had "stuff" done to the car.

The advantage to putting the car to sleep is that you make sure you get no CEL. Even if you do get the CEL it will go away after a few drive cycles. However if you had to take the car in for service within say a week or so of the CEL there might be a record kept onboard that the car had a CEL.

So it's easier just to pop the hood and lock the doors and wait a few minutes, 20 if the car is hot 1 if the car is cold. Then there is nothing to worry about at all.

As far as SSTT 2, a name that we have not decided on yet by the way, it is still in progress. I have seen several prototypes going through their paces. When we know what the final form is then we will know how much it will cost to make in quantity and then also when we can release it.

But I do promise to launch it for the online community first!

SSTT+

SSTT squared....no squared sign on the keyboard. I like this one. Please use, for the small fee of a free unit...or two or three.
I guess power won't be squared though....or will it.

I have some more...SSTT Black. SSTT Red. SSTT Platinum. Blah.. blah..bla...
