70 miles but during next week i got about 500 to do so ill update soon...i can tell u its very linear and not so violent as i expected.
I came from a revo remapped PD150 VW golf...150HP turned into around 195/200 bhp and the pumpe duse vW was violent and a bitch to laydown the horses. This is very soft and efficent and doesnt seem to have made any difference to the mpg at present. Its effective it seems but goes about it a different way. The big test is coming next week. |

OK after 700+ miles i can tell u it has adapted very well and u can now feel the difference, its still smooth and like i said before anyone who had the VW remapped would find this strange as its no where near as violent in power surging but its moving with a sedate yet reasonable pace.
If you are looking for a radical difference then no,but it has made mpg easy if u r just wallowing along on the M/A and some B roads. Mike is a good man and will assist you with technical help etc and well i still think its a bargain at £300,cos without it u will not be able to upgrade the ecu.I actually think and i dont accurately know what its pushing out its still feels like you could push it for more(mike take note lol) but the E92 is quite a heavy car in the 1st place so as T*sco says ..every little helps. Im diddling time around at the mo but if i can ill do a Surrey rolling road thing and by then ill have 2000+ miles on it so it should be well settled in. |

can say the old 163 engine is the same but the new one 177 is different to what was on leaflet.I asked for new picture to be sent out as the old one is confusing. On the top of the block on mine is 2 connectors..1.5 inches apart unplug both of these an replug them back in....if i can get a picture ill show u in a around 20 mins.

i looped it around and under and over and didnt need ties so im out fast when doing a service. Its tucked in tight with no movement by the left hand side xenon headlight unit.Remember this is a E92 coupe with slightly different front to E90.
Good luck and im sure u can advise us as it goes along. |

I'm going to get one of these....based on current consumption of around 34mpg and say I get 54mpg with the box. I reckon after about 13 fill ups it will pay for itself....That's what I've told the wife anyway

took her out today for a 100 mile round trip from burnley to lancaster, definite increase at high speeds plus with stops and starts all day returned an average of 54mpg
the only problem I have found is the idle (tickover) seems high at around 750-800 (is that is the right decimal placing) is this correct? as I never noted the idle previously |
