So a delete is on the cards I think, Looks like this will do the trick. Now I just need to find someone who charges a reasonable price to code it out locally.

Yeah I'm really happy with it. Suits the interior perfectly and the illumination is perfect

How are you planning to get rid of the emissions light mate?

Tues I'm having the dpf removed and egr deleted and a full exhaust and remap. I was hoping to get it before hand then have it fitted at the same time, but I don't think I'll get it in time so probably fit it afterwards.

Are you sure that EGR will fit 335D's?

They dont list the 335D as a compatible engine.

Which one? The one I posted or Toms?

Both have the three bolt connection to the anti-shudder valve so both will be fine.

There are only problems if someone orders something like this:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-EGR-BY...item27c6619fb7

Something like that doesnt allow you to connect the anti-shudder valve and so would be useless. Hope that helps?

Mine looks exactly the same as the allard one which I originally ordered but then was refunded due to a fault with the flange?
So I ordered that but emailed them first and asked if it would definitely fit before I purchased the item.

Sounds like if should be fine, probably an error in the ad. It just lists up to e92 330D in the description, but it does say it will fit a 535D, which i'm assuming is the same part for a 335D.

That's why I thought I'd ask, it didn't make sense to me and I never use them drop down thingy menus because I've tried doing something before and I knew it'd fit my car but it said it wouldn't.
Your better off just emailing imo.

And if it is wrong ill get my money back because it'd be their fault

Time for a little update. I had been toying with the idea of fitting CIC and had a chat with Sam (Makkan). In the end I couldn't justify spending 20% of what I had paid for the car (remember I bought it cheap!) on and audio upgrade.

So I bought a used Dension 500S BT from Andy off these forums and fitted it this week:

Some re-routing of the MOST ring was required first as I wanted to use the CD Changer connections in the boot:

Then I fitted the Dension unit after crimping into the CDC power wiring:

The control box fits neatly out the way at the top of the boot:

iPod Touch fitted in glovebox - wiring fixes neatly under centre tunnel:

iDrive Interface - very clean and easy to use

A short video of it in action:

I need to get an updated iPod - later ones show what's playing on Spotify, internet radio etc.

I can also AD2P stream my phone - it shows Spotify info on the iDrive if I do this

Nice.

I also didn't want to spend that sort of money for CIC and got a dension. They are great.

That's very kind of you Andy :-) Thanks for a smooth transaction and a 'clandestine' meeting in a motorway services Seeing your wheels has got me wanting to open my wallet again

If you're missing it you'll just have to get your hand in your pocket and get the CIC installed as planned.

Quick update - not done much as I've been away working in the middle east.

Bought this:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2616830911...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Work in progress:

Finished:

Really pleased with the quality of the badges and the tape - old badges had started to peel slightly.

Hello Mate,

Did you ever get around to fitting the EGR blank as in the pics? I have just purchased the same one and am wondering if it will actually fit flush to the manifold. The bead of weld you can see on the flange looks like it could become an obstruction. Did you or anyone else have this problem. I haven't actually looked yet but I don't want to strip it down only to find out it won't seal.

cheers.

Might be worth contacting tomwh85 as it looks like he has fitted one in his thread
