+1 these would compliment the idrive knob in any idrive car whether you have the alum trim or other.

I think I like the grooved ones.

"Junoa" has not been sent to foreign countries.
There is nothing except that it sent it to the friend from whom the friend in Japan lived in Germany as a
present.

Today's comment was written reading the communication of the above-
mentioned many times.
It would be greatly appreciated when someone finds the answer of the doubt by
these comments.

there's a website for VW's ECS Tuninghttp://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?make=Volkswagen&engine=2.0T&model =EOS&submodel=&category=Interior

look for the 3 set of bezels. I wonder if we could contact that manufacture to see if we could get something for BMW's

With many thanks to xdrive for looking into the part situation, and his helpful offer to get us these parts, this quoted post suggests that xdrive's metal knobs are different from the metal knobs that are pictured at the beginning of this thread.

However, given the difficulties associated with buying the Japanese metal knobs, xdrive's metal knobs may be a great alternative.

I'm going to petition Jason (he's the site owner right?) whether I can post this thread in the general forum for a couple of weeks as a special exception, so as to come to a resolution of this matter.

As an aside, these Junoa Japanese knobs are fast becoming my "Moby Dick" of BMW modifications.

I'm interested. What about the head light dial? That would be pretty cool....

Also, while I'm fantasizing about metal trim for my BMW's interior, a brushed metal iDrive knob would be awesome.

I like these parts, but I have no chrome in my interior to match them. That's why I'm so interested in the matte metal pieces that were pictured and the subject of this thread. Accordingly, if you can have these make from billet (matte metal), I'm interested. In advance of you taking your time to investigate this option, I thank you.

xDrive can post post the address or website of that Taiwanese Supplier? I have friends coming from Taiwan next week, I am sure they will pick them up for me and bring them to NY by next week.

Hope this helps.

Better than I thought it would be. If the Japanese knobs fall through, I will buy a set.

I am interested in the method of installing the dial of this image.
There is no adhesive needing when "Junoa" that I make is installed in the body.

Sorry xdrive, but yours seem to have a horrible finish on them. They look scratched, and you can see obvious machining marks. Perhpas it's the photo quality (?). BTW, how do the knobs fit on the climate control knobs, do they slip over the existing knobs or do they replace them?

Thanks.

As promised, my Japanese colleague reached out to the blog owner, and here is the scoop.

The knobs are all individually hand made, and take about a month to produce. I assume based on time to produce and demand.
They only ship in Japan.

Audio swtich:
Normal type (2 nobs) JPY7500 = about $75
(I think normal type are the smooth finish)
Loret type (I assume means with the small grooves in) is JPY 7900

Air conditioning buttons:
Normal (2 nobs) JPY8700 = $88
Loret (Small grooves?) JPY9600 = $96
Spline (I am assuming it is the bevelled one?) JPY 12,400 = $125

My colleague reckons about another 20 bucks for tax/shipping so if you go for the bevelled air con buttons, you are looking at 150 bucks. Seems a lot, but these are also unique and look like good quality.

So my friend is going to order them, and have them shipped to her parents place in Japan. I figure there is always the chance something will go wrong, but what the hell, have some Blls and take a risk.

I will repost when..... and IF.... they arrive and see if anyone is still interested, I can try and work a deal out with her and her parents.

That is the look. I've had these for about 1 yr now. So they're all scratched and beat up. I don't have a fancy camera so they don't look as fancy as it would be if it was retail. The truth is it's a knob, nothing more. I actually like the machining look. I have other sets that I bought which has a silver finish on them and has the smooth finish. Too lazy to take pics.

Ask some of the members that bought it from me already. So far I've heard positive things about them. Again, this is not my product. I can NOT guarantee the quality. All I can say is I like them. It actually makes the interior look more.... expensive IMO. I hate how bmw has too much plastic in their interior. Lexus and MB interior is much nicer IMO. AGAIN, this is my opinion. Don't get all crazy on me.
