It looks like Turandot is going to take the far lock, away from the camera. Sometimes the ships in the far lock get blocked by the ships in the near lock.

It takes approximately 6-7 days to sail from the PanCanal to SoCal. She will not be trackable until she gets to the SoCal coast, around San Diego. There is a Baja AIS radar screen, but it doesn't pick up ships rather well. I will keep an eye on it anyways.

The radar for the west coast of Mexico isn't working this morning. The west coast of Mexico radar is a weak radar and only picks up signals here and there. So, she could be outside of Baja but AIS is not picking her up. She's not in the San Diego area, either. We will have to wait until she either appears on that radar or shows up in the San Diego area. I will watch as I can today and tomorrow. She should show up either day.

Her she is. She is on her way. You could register for free at shinemicro.com. Their AIS radar subscription is kind of hit and miss, but you should be able to track her some.

For a LA dealership, it usually takes a few days. I would say seven days max. But, there are lots of variables depending on how backed up the port is, how backed up the VDC is, the trucking co, any damages to your car that have to be repaired, etc. It always amazes me how variable it is. Timing swings all over the place. I once read a post from a guy in LA who got his car the same day (his ship arrived in the morning and he picked it up at the dealership that night), then some can take seven days. It is crazy. I think 12 days is WAY too pessimistic. I think three is fairly normal for a LA dealership. You should have it by this weekend.

It should be moving along pretty well. I spoke with my CA today a couple times and my car was on a truck already today heading to the dealership from the Turandot. He said tomorrow or thursday I should be able to take delivery!
