Well...so far the E90post members who have bought MORR seem to be satisfied. So to say they have "no proven track record" is incorrect sir.

Tonnes of satisfied customers who bought the original cast 19" Style 162 wheels and forged VS7s from MORR...

Well...my MORR VS7s have withstood their fair share of potholes. So far so good...knock wood.

+1. Exactly...forged means it will likely be stronger than cast wheels...but you can't think you're running on diamonds. Jeesh. Overstressed/fatigued forged metal will crack at some point...

Back to the OP's question...hmmm...interesting observation on the pictures. I wish I could speak Japanese and get more information directly from NEEZ Japan. Unfortunately their NEEZ USA website is down (ever since the Eisenhaus scandal blew up).

Personally (and this is IMO of course) I wouldn't buy NEEZ at this point just because of I don't know who I could order from and trust (unless I directly get shipped from NEEZ Japan). I would never order from Eisenhaus. I'd be afraid they were giving me made in Korea cast NEEZ QD7 knock-offs!! If I could speak/write fluent Japanese, I would maybe consider it. Perhaps there is another local vendor that can help you out...

From an aethetics point of view...the NEEZ QD7 front wheels are flat and the rears are concave. The current wheel designs from MORR for the VS8 show concavity on both the front and rear. Some may prefer one or the other. I actually prefer concavity on both front and rear.

If it's worth anything, I've been satisfied with VS7s after owning them for about a year on my car...I would definately buy from MORR again. The product quality I have experienced speaks stronger than all the endorsements on this forum. Plus it totally outweighs all the crap talk on the forums.

There are a few members out there who are critical about MORR...because simply they have no experience with it. And it's good to be cautious...but some members go to the point of badmouthing MORR. This is quite unfortunate because most of this badmouthing comes from individuals who don't even own MORR. Some other members who bought more expensive wheels are pissed off and can't believe that MORR is selling forged wheels for such a reasonable price. Others are just pissed off because they couldn't get the offset information or where wheels were made from Carlos. *shrug* Some (but not all) of the mystique and holiness aura around NEEZ is because of their high price...and their fans/customers snubb their noses at the mention of a cheaper wheel. Not sure discounting MORR simply based on price is a good idea.

Anyway...get what you believe will make you happy. That's the most important. And if you get NEEZ...all the more power to you. I hope you take lots of photos of your car and post them online. I would love to see them!

But...I really do like my VS7s tho.
