after bridging you will have 200w/channel for each of the underseats. I would start with the gain set to zero and then turn up from there till they blend nicely with the doors. on that amp will probably be somewhere between 9 and 12 oclock. also don't know how much time you have on the jehnerts, but all speaker tend to sound better after 100 hours or so of break in.

I have morels in the doors and the old kicker ssmb8 underseats which like the jehnerts are great for mid bass not sub bass. I now have a JL HD amp (150w/channel) instead of the 75 for the XD (use the XD for the rears and the center), and the kickers really sound great.

You can approximate this with your system quite easily, first off either unplug the rear speakers OR just power them off the head unit, there is enough power from the hifi head unit to where they give some presence to rear seat passengers and they do nothing for you up front anyway even when amped. then using your xd600, bridge 4 of the channels to power the underseats and the other 2 for the doors. you'll have tons more headroom and the system will sound loads better.
+1 I know my morels sounded cleaner when I had my xd600/6 bridged. I had it like that until 2 channels stopped working on the amp. If the amp is not powerful enough it will start to distort. With a more powerful amp you'll never get to the point where it starts to distort.

Before bridging I decided to give tuning by ear a try. Tuned it today with a friend who does audio and this is the results that we got. It honestly sounds amazing and exactly like I imagined the jehnert/morel combo would sound, however, i'm concerned the gains are too aggressive. Is it fine to run this setup because if so it sounds perfect?

Awesome thanks for the quick reply. Still might give bridging a try just to see how it sounds but figured i'd first try doing gains by ear since it's easier

Shit, not sure how I managed to find this thread now... I bought and installed the MB quarts. Haven't managed to blow them up yet, but am currently looking at Morels as a front set replacement due to the MBs being a little bright.

Still have yet to try the MBs on -6 tweeter setting...

Psmitty, thanks for an informative thread!

Do you have any pics or more info on your 10" infinite baffle setup???

I may be into going down this route, but I dont have fold down rear seats.

Do you feel that the 10" is lacking at all? most people seem to go with 12's or

15's in infinite baffle setups. Just wondering how the 10" compares.

Is the only reasonable place to buy the Jehnert via Europe on the Jehnert site? I see some for sale on the forums rarely, but not often enough to count on.

Glad to hear you're happy with your current set up.

What amp you running with the 10"?

Honestly not too bad. It doesn't make my windows vibrate but its more than adequate for the low end coupled with the jehnerts doing midrange. I have a bass control knob up front so might upgrade to a 12 down the road so i can really crank it up but the 10 inch is very well balanced in this sytem imo. Thats the only pic i got. Just made some mdf and leave the middle seat w/ ski pass through down so sub fired into cabin. Have rubber weather seal around where sub is wedged against the seat too
