The reason is for sure "animal harm", which has nothing to do with gore or splatter. I wont like the fact that I maybe have to kill dozen of horses and the rider also. Might be more realistic but Im quite sure that DICE hasnt brought this through the censors.

Anti-Tank grenades into their faces works great.

I play support class, MG15 Suppressive with a 200 round belt and HE mortars for attacking tanks........happy days.
