No worries guys... original ship schedule for the group buy was always going to be april... I just was hoping to get some shipped early... but I would rather it be done right, than rushed.

Thanks for hanging in there with me

No shit. Would you rather have him rush or use sub-standard manufacturers? I don't.

DIY...

It comes with install instructions... very simple... hardest part is tapping the wires for power, which is still pretty easy. You could alternitively have a car audio install shop help you out, following my instructions.

The DIY should be very easy. Like Rick said the hardest part will be removing the center console to get at the wires, and then tapping them. But, to be honest with you that really isn't THAT hard....

Hows everything coming Rick? Any good news....

Do you have the nav knob in the center console?

You can PM me for an estimated ship date... as the original group buy terms stated, most pods will not ship until mid april, orders that were placed after the group buy will be towards late april. This of course is "worst case" scenario.

I hope to get a lot more shipped out in these first few weeks of april, maybe even all of them if possible.

Depends on how things go today with attempting the first actual sample run with the production molds

I have about half of the gauges... the rest are still backordered. Right now I am waiting to check on the outcome of the latest small production batch. Materials arrived in good shape today, but because of the cold weather, we have to let it rise to room temp gradually, and that takes about 12-24 hours.

I will have about 8-10 pods in hand tomorrow night, hopefully they are up to par, and I can ship them.

I will be getting them in a few hours... turns out we were only able to make 3 right now. We are waiting for them to come out of the molds as we speak... they have a 75 minute curing time because of the reactive molding process, which must be RTV'ed.... (room tempurature vulcanized)

If I end up shipping a couple of these first units, if they pass my tests, those people will get a PM from me

if not, then I will have another round of pods pumping out next week.

Keep in mind guys, anything before end of april should be considered "early"... since the original group buy was set for april delivery...

Its my job to make sure that I don't let these get into your hands until they are exactly the way I want them, and an exact replica of my prototype... and anyone that has made molded objects before knows that it takes lots of time, and lots of tries. But things are good!

Yes, it can be... most of what you see is my crappy camera work.. the flash from the camera created a shadow.

I kinda rushed the install... it wedges in better than that. I just put it in for the photo
