I read in a review somewhere that the body count was 141. Nearly double the first movie. Saw it today...Excellent. Loved the shotgun work. Sound FX were great too. Can't wait for 3.

We guessed between 125 and 175. It was pretty intense.

Any thoughts on whether Common's character and the hearing impaired bodyguard will return in the next movie? It seems that they were spared for this purpose.

The deaf body guard took a knife to the chest and was left for dead in the modern art museum. Unlikely she will return.

The other was left on train with a knife in his chest and probably will return, as a "professional courtesy.

I definitely think Common will be back. Not sure on the deaf hottie....she seemed pretty still at the end.

Ironically I had a dream about her last night....but my gun kept jamming. Not sure what that means...

In all seriousness though, in one of the previews I saw the Benelli M4 mentioned. This is the greatest gun of all time and cannot be shown enough in my opinion lol. I own two of them and will hold on to them forever. Shame I don't have the mastery of the weapons like Mr. Wick does though.

Doc, you need to clarify: Which gun and where was the jamming going on?

Unfortunately it was a snubnose....as to the jamming, that's kind of fuzzy

Thumbs up

EPIC this movie was!!!

If this doesn't get ya pulse racing... Check ya pulse!

The ONLY thing that pissed me off... No theater nowhere near me has this playing in IMAX or XD. Due to Lego Batman and 50 Shades Darker.

Guess I will have to wait for it to hit video for me to crank the shit out of it on my Home Theater!

Same here!
We even went to the movie/dinner place and it wasn't in 3D for the 9:40 AM show. What kind of crap was that?

Ok. Enough griping. We have already agreed to see it again because the action sequences are phenomenal! This was as good as, if not better than, the original.

Number 3 should be even better. I think they set it up well and we should all be in for a wild ride!

Get your home theater equipped for Dolby Atmos.
It makes the first John Wick better than the theater.
And chapter 2..... well I would think the gunfire will set new standards for home theater performance benchmarking.
That's coming from someone in the audio industry

I'm hoping that they do a 4th movie as well. Seems a prequel is perfectly set up by the references in the first two movies to the impossible job Wick did to get out of the biz....I want to see that play out.

Keanu showing off the three gun skills in this video, the guy can definitely shoot for real. I *think* that's a Benelli M1 he's using for the shotgun. I sadly don't even have any experience with that gun as I never want to shoot another shotgun after the M4. ;D

Um, I guess that second bottle of sake was just too much, because I literally fell asleep Saturday night, and we went to the 5:45 showing.

I couldn't even figure out what all the hubbub wa about, other than they wanted to kill him and he wanted to kill them back.

I did figure it would take a home copy that you could control the motion to get the actual body count.

When we left, I told my BILIL that I would avenge his death, as long as he left me enough money for a Kimber 1911 .45ACP

Oh trust me... I have my eye on this certain YAMAHA Aventage receiver w/ Dolby ATMOS real soon. I am on my 3rd Yamaha receiver now (Aventage line) and they have served me VERY well over the years!

The processing and power of this beast is fantastic!

Indeed
I have a 3050 and use it as a pre/pro
With Aragon power amps
BTW--The latest from Yamaha is the 3060.
Good luck in your quest!

Alright, I finally got to see it this Sat. I thoroughly enjoyed it and the body count was ridiculous. The girl was creepy af though and I wish they threw down a bit more at the concert / club like they did in the first. And finally the pencil

I'm really looking forward to Chapter 3

Shout out to the producers

Saw it today, thought it was pretty good, like the gun fight scenes. Only thing was that the ending seemed kind of lame, after going through all that and then just boom, now all eyes on you as he runs off...,

BUT other than that, enjoyed it.
