The connection from the IC to the charge pipe was loose. Obviously real loose. Literally I was driving back home from my mechanic after he fixed it when I crashed. I know, Damn.
After sorting out my daily driver (Jeep) and tightening up the suspension (Bilstein B12) on the 335 I will get a flash PI controller and go MHD all the way. Being able to just load whatever amount of e85 and having MHD tune it accordingly via bluetooth will be the be all end all. Justin, do bring it. |

The log Justin posted is my latest. As I am due for inspection I am running my e45 tank out, setting the JB4 to Map0, filling it up with 93 octane, and passing it with my Area51+ fix yet again.

After the Bilstein B12s are installed this week I am going with an MHD PI e50 flash tune. After replacing every, and I mean every, normal wear item I am ready to get the power back, go into maintenance mode, and tidy up a few minor interior issues.

Billstein B12 in place, and a dealer alignment was done. They are perfect. The people that say they ride harsh are likely under the misconception that lowered automatically equates to stiff. How wrong they are. Perhaps actually riding in a car with them installed will change their minds.
While driving some the last two days to let the initial tune settle in I can say that the initial MHD custom PI tune is much smoother and more refined than the JB4 and MHD BEF I used to have. The stutter, as Kathie referred to it, while taking off is gone. As is the loud exhaust noise (drone?) at 2800 rpm, when hitting the gas... so far. I made a few initial logs in order to get acquainted with the drill, and had some problems. As with yesterday the car went into limp mode this afternoon. And to think my engine has protection without the JB4 in place. Yesterday I had two codes that indicated a possible issue with the rear O2 sensor: 2D15 and 2CED. As I just had the AR downpipe installed I have read that there may be a leak, or the somewhat delicate rear sensor could have been damaged. Another thing I noted was that on the log both cylinders 4 and 5 did not advance the spark. I am at 58 k miles. Maybe time for new coils. As the Delphis are 158 a set I may change them all proactively, along with new plugs. I'll wait to see what Justin has to say before doing so. |
