Nick, will the heat eventually turn the exhaust yellowish? I've seen it in other systems before when they were new the color was nice and shiny, but then turned yellow and no amount of polishing fixed it.

Should be within a couple months. I'm using my car as a guinea pig and cutting up the bumper to make sure they fit right.

do you have pics of the optional $300 high flow cat version? and/or any sound clips? or does it not make a difference?
And is it safe to assume, with the high flow cat system, that the car will be able to pass smog/emissions?

We do not have any pictures of the optional HFC version to show, but it looks identical to the standard system, but with 2 metal substrate 200 cell high flow cats staggered slightly in the section 1 portion of the system. I would be shocked if the HFC version along with the cats in the downpipes wouldnt pass emissions requirements because I've read posts on the forum from people saying that only the cats in the downpipes should be sufficient to pass a sniffer test. I havent personally tested the HFC on my car or heard it on another car, but I would assume the sound would be slightly more subdued, yet still flow far better than the stock cats since these are much less restrictive.

Just wanted to add that we have almost completely sold out of our intro-priced exhaust systems. Those of you that have not ordered yet, that would like one should order soon to avoid missing out on the intro price.

If your name is on the list in the first post, you will be able to order for the special price even if we sell more than the alloted 24 systems as long as the order is placed before the end of next week which is June 6th.

how come this exhaust doesn't have an x-pipe?? Factory one does and there is a very good reason to have an x-pipe. Speaking to some exhaust specialists they told me that the engine efficiency is impacted if exhaust gases are not flowing uniformly which happens in this exhaust as the 2 pipes are not the same after the place where the x-pipe is to sit...it will cause some cylinders in the engine to work harder than others...supersprint has the x-pipe, ultimate racing has it, not sure about others...

think its very important to have...

others, please chime in your thoughts...x-pipe doesn't affect performance that much (if at all, entire exhaust replacement doesn't have a great impact, let alone x-pipe) and i'm wondering why it wasn't included on these pipes???

interesting...

where on the factory exhaust does it have an X-pipe? Looks more like an H-pipe if you ask me..

what's the ordeal with having the X-pipe or not though?? I seriously have felt gains with the exhaust vs the stock.

You are correct..... for naturally aspirated cars. If you search for exhausts for other twin turbo cars such as skylines, supras, audi S4s, etc, nearly ALL aftermarket exhausts do not have X pipes because the turbos do not create the same flow as a naturally aspirated exhaust pulse. Due to this, you will actually GAIN power without using an X-Pipe in a turbo vehicle which should be more notable while running higher boost. Also, the 335 has an H-Pipe stock. Fully divorced piping is key for twin turbo cars.
