Our service is being marketed globally with tuner shops rather than direct purchasing. We are not an established mail order company if we net 15% a year in retail sales that is alot.

We never targeted the BMW, Audi or VW retail markets ever in the USA or Europe since the competiton was so strong for years making us shift our focus in an entirely different market alltogether. We wanted to sell this tool with technology to a BMW specific tuner in Europe but arrangments have not been made or met for us to do so yet. Its easier for us to be technology developers than retail salesman and that is how things have been since our inception.

We are not soliciting direct sales to anyone
We posted to let everyone know whats available as an option since many complaints rise up regarding other products for tuning. Having more options strenghtens the market and product quality for everyone
We want to answer questions accordingly
We want to hear your feedback good and bad
We will not comment or remark on other tuning solutions from other vendors out of goodwill

Thanks
just curious, when shall we expect some of the questions posted here to be answered?

It would seem in your earlier post that you were either planning to sell or are already selling this is service directly to public. Now this post makes it sound like you will or a planning to have a dealer network similar to Ecutek. Which is it?

Also, like most car nuts we crave details. We don't expect to see your timing and vanos maps or anything like that but, we do expect to know certain details like how much boost this tune will run, what exactly is this warranty on (guessing just the ECU and not bricking it when flashing), is the tune promised to be limp free, what is a "certain" number of times for a reflash from either service visits or Progman updates, etc... I'm sure your dyno is very good but, those numbers mean nothing to anyone in this forum. Since you have cars here in the US can you get one on a dynojet and post those numbers?

Welcome to the forum. I hope your product does well and delivers.

One more, I was looking over your website. Under the news tab it says "ECU development for Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, Jag, Lambo and Maserati for US/European markets". I'm assuming that means development for your companies tunes and not actually working with those OEM's on something for them correct?

By that amount of chp, I'd guess the boost is ~13 psi. It seems like the "warranty" they offer only covers the work they do to the ecu.

Do our ECU's do enough/any datalogging to allow you to do a fully custom one off tune for every one who sends you their ECU? How do you make sure the AFR's are safe etc.. Also I am curious about the other questions that have been asked a few times but havent been answered. A few simple answers may net you guys some quick sales.

Why? Can you please elaborate?

Edit: If worried about power loss and potential crash, I think for the E36 and E46 cars, the Shark Injector's recommended use included connecting an emergency battery charger (so as to not deplete the battery during the upload/download). Anyway, it would be trivial to hook an OBD device up to a 12V eternal power source.

Or is it something else?

I understand that, but a tuner that comes on here and will not explain how their products work isn't going to sell anything. Just look at all the info shiv, terry, and the helix guys have provided in the past..

Yes, but do these other communities have to be extra super careful to get everything back to stock before they bring it to the dealer? I'm guessing not as careful as a BMW owner must be.

give the guy a break...he is not too familiar to this forum.

The more info you guys disclose the better. Boost levels are no great secret with expected hp level...so dont see why you should not disclose it.

it seems like a competitively priced alternative to Dinan without warranty to engine components...but Shark Edit is even better positioned IMO

You want to hear our comments, but you clearly deny any wrongdoing by your statements (which were rude, by the way).

How do you expect us to respect you if you throw our words back in our faces?

Have you guys considered that he may not be from this country and English may not be his first language?

Germans are usually quite to the point to begin with couple that with what might not be his native tongue and I can see the curtness.

Or perhaps he's an engineer which pretty much means no people skills.

You still using that "Weight Watchers" scale to measure your duffel bags....er...retainer fees? Is it still 11lbs per $500k?

E90post ----> deny...deny...deny...

Take it easy on the guy, if he was rude, secretive or combative, he is certainly not the first vendor here to act in such a manner. You all should be use to it.

When I heard Disney World stopped counting money weighed it instead, I thought that would work for me too.

I think the people that arnt really interested in this tune should just bounce and not post. Its really negative and it looses my train of thought reading all these informative posts. These dudes obviously dont play. They are dynoing freaking R8's son.. DID YOU SEE THAT DYNO FAN !??!?!?!??!? I think these guys may own everone real good.. How are you going to compare sharkedit to this company? hahah

Chill out and leave the guy alone. He knows his stuff. AND HE HAS FULL VANOS CONTROL. Who cares about boost control. They know the same shi* we know.. You cant go over 15.5 without race gas or dp's...

Ill send my ecu to them.. Thats how they take over the WHOLE ecu tards that dont get it. =) Tell me more about vanos control .. THIS forum likes detailed info on stuff like that. Maybe alot of stoners, who knows..
