Yes I did, test drove the 6speed with sport package and they give me what I wanted for trade-in. Everything felt very nice(not as fast as the EVO) except for the long shifter  . but its doesnt matter to me since I order the Auto(so the wife can drive)
Was suppose to wait and compare the Lexus IS350 but just couldn't wait

Congratulations EVOS4 and segfault. You guys ordered my two favorite E90 colors and the two that I'm deciding between. Wish I could have one of each
I'm curious when they estimated you will be taking delivery?

Garage List
Placed my order in April. Expecting delivery end of July.

My order looks like this:
- 330i Manual
- Sunroof (we pay extra for it in SA)
- Sparkling Graphite + Terra + Aluminium
- Sport Package
- Style 162 wheels
- Bluetooth
- Professional Navigation
- Comfort Access
- Logic 7
- Luggage Compartment package
- Xenon lights
- Extended Lights package
- Interior and Exterior mirror package (folding & auto-dimming mirrors, auto-kerb focus)

The exterior colour(Sparkling Graphite) is cast in stone since I've seen and liked it on the 1 series, but the Terra leather is subject to change when I get a chance to see the cars in person on the 9th of May. My second choice is Black leather.

Thanks BMWAustin. The reason for all the options is that this is somewhat a culmination of my dream, and I'm trying to make it close to perfection because I anticipate a rewarding long-term love affair with it. I have always wanted the E36 328 back in the 90's but couldn't afford it. Now that I can afford this 330i, I've got to make it perfect.

I literally worship the E46 330i. Everytime I stop at a traffic light behind a 330i, I immediately switch off my radio, and open my window, just to listen to the sweet exhaust note of the 330 when it takes off. On take off, I enjoy only a few seconds of that because I can't keep up with it. Anyway, that's how much a 330 means to me. It's not just another car.

eurodelivery

I am brand new to this so bear with me ...I have heard of people buying their cars in Germany then bringing them into the states and the total price works out cheaper. What is the process for doing this? Being from Cali will I have big issues with smog restrictions?

tdhsteacher,

You are referring to the European Delivery program. I believe the price is a couple of thousand dollars less on a 3-series, but you are responsible for getting yourself to Germany to take delivery and back to the US whilst you await your new BMW. The cost is less because, once you have taken delivery in Germany, they can import the car as a used vehicle, lowering the import tariff. See the invoice pricing thread on the main page, which provides standard dealer invoice as well as European Delivery dealer invoice. Good luck with your purchase.

Edit: When you take delivery of your vehicle in Germany, it is a full US-specification vehicle, so there are no smog or crash test issues.

Who'd like to start?? We're all ears.
Hi everybody. I placed order mi april for 330i, SG, black int. alu, sport seats, 18" wheels, no i-drive. Here in Hong Kong, we don't have "packages" from BMW and sat. nav. and TV /DVD is not allowed in cars. The E90 comes with leather, auto clim, sunroof, xenon, CD pro as a standard and options are limited (wheels, idrive, logic7, sport seats and suspension and active steering). The idrive is a $5000 gadget (cars and options are taxed at 85%) and no nav !.
This is to explain my choice. Now, I am considering changing the color (in or out). I am hesitating because I did not see the car at the time I placed the order. I am hesitating changing into silver or maybe interior in terra (saw the photos posted couple of days ago).
Has anybody ordered a SG with black interior ?
I am also considering adding the sport suspension which I did not pick
originally. Not sure about that.
Comments from you guys who have seen the car in real would help !
My car will be manufactured in May and will reach HK by end june/early july. I am not even sure I can change the order by now.

Btw, have you seen the Arctic 330i at the showroom in Causeway Bay?

It's really good to see so many who have ordered their BMW 3. Just out of curiousity, how much does a 330i cost in where u are. I'm from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and the BMW 330i costs RM428,000 (US$112,630).

Here in South Africa, the E90 330i Manual Transmission costs ZAR346,500, which is US$56,803 using today's exchange rate.

Dang! those import tarrifs suck! $112k for a 3 series?? thats like $30k-$40k MORE than the 7 series!!!(which is a huge, luxury limo)

btw a fully loaded 330i with every option is about $48-50k here in the USA. Which is considred a lot cuz the last 3 was not even 45k fully loaded.. expect the preformance package offcurse

What's amazing is that even tho the prices of cars in asia are like 2-3 times more than those in the US, you still see tons of bmw's and mercedes running around!
