You can get them and than Terry will create a nurfed map to go with them....

I am sure BMS will figure out something eventually but as of right now it is better to keep them off. Hell, I only gained 3rwhp with catless DPs so the gains aren't exactly what they are cracked upto be....

But the SOUND is awesome....sigh...stupid warranty !

I would imagine that you are right about Terry--if there is a market for it, and there surely is, then he will try and get it done.

Why such minimal gains? After spending $600+ on dp's I'd be pissed.

i dunno ive seen some gain 18-20 rwhp across the board just from dp's. if you only gained 3rwhp then your tune didnt compensate for the extra flow (jb3 does or v3). Thats when you gain the big power with dp's.

I'd rather not get into what tune I was running at the time of the change from stock DPs to catless DPs......

OK, LET ME BEGIN WITH THE FuCKING HUGE ISSUES I HAD WITH THE DYNO OPERATOR AND DYNO.........

1) The dyno operator didnt really know what the fuck he was doing......

2) We were having endless problems with the runs and at first he didnt even know where to hook up the wire to get the torque readings......

3) All the pulls were done in third and he actually ran it all the way through 4th on the same dyno pull........

4)Thanks to Terry he told the guy the exact spot to put the wire to get the torque readings......

With all these problems I had here my last 3 runs were the best and each run went up by 5whp and 5 wtq EACH TIME.......my last run was the best which doesn't sit right in my head......

Also the dumb bitch up front won't send me my friggin graphs through Email until tomorrow.....

my best numbers were 345whp and 343 wtq........it was 81 degrees and 70-80% humidity.........I have AT E90 335i...........

I will be going to another Dyno next week to get PROPER numbers because the Dyno results cant be trusted due to the jackass that ran it....also a dyno that can handle 2500hp usually reads a little low also.......my numbers will be better next week, trust me...........

You say that like those numbers are terrible. Those are good numbers, especially since you've got a v.81.

Yea they are not bad numbers, but i am pissed with this whole situation of the dyno, I tried to find another dyno and went to another shop that my friend went to, to dyno his M3 and it wound up they moved the shop like 6 months ago............so I would have had more numbers and probably better and smooth dyno pulls.........

That is really messed up dude... I wouldnt have paid them a dime... Take it to someone who has dynoed a 335i AT before and knows how to do it right... Still damn good numbers for a 335i AT with only JB3 and an intake! Congrats

There's one thing that gets overlooked quite a bit on all these dynos that people are doing....operator errors. The simple fact that the operator did the run (s) in 3rd gear instead of 4th is a major mistake, and should have been well known. I'm sure Terry probably set the guy straight, but mistakes like these are more common then we think, imo. I'll bet the guy didn't start at 2000 rpms either.

Still....all and all....pretty impresive numbers none the less.

No that makes sense since you will dyno higher in a lower gear I believe....

Try to ask around for a dyno shop in your area and figure out if someone has done 335i's before.

The main thing is dynoing in 4th and not hitting the kickdown. Let me know if there is anything that I can do bro. Best of luck....
