How different is this going to be from the upcoming Factory BMW performance system?

Screw Group Buys, it always take forever...usually twice as long as initially promised

Why don't vendors stock things anymore? Shit is annoying, like using our money to make the product....

Intake look nice, but i'll wait till you guys stock it before i buy it...or buy it off of a forum member who's pissed off that he waited too long for it

There should be a rule that sneak peaks at upcoming products should include the pricing - it looks sweat, but if it's going to be as much as a Gruppe M, then I will wait for something cheaper!

I like what Ultimate Racing and Terry does with their business practice...

Here's the mod, here's the price, here's dyno, here's the ordering form...and they have it in stock, they don't use our money to invest in their group buy shit...

I'd like to see the weave quality on this in real life. Picrures like that taken with a flash do not show most carbon products favorably.

yeah I would have to agree on that too, but some small companies need a little head start, and thats okay....but once they are established they shouldn't require another GB to start another project....this is overkill and bad business!

Update would be appreciated. Especially what type of "CARBON FIBER" this really is. I purchased the Gruppe M intake, and the "carbon fiber" they use is not really carbon fiber at all.

Is this going to be REAL carbon fiber? or does it have the fiberglass manufacturing process? (where you can see the fiberglass texture on the inside)

the business world does not work where you offer something, get people to pay for it, then take that money and build it or buy it

its called getting a business loan, line of credit, borrowing money etc.

you end up going backwards when you offer something but have no money to pay for it, like in this case

they really should have found a way to invest in there product. no one likes to do it, but its called starting a business

you dont walk into a restaurant, order food, and wait 2 weeks until they get tables, chairs, grills etc.

they have to be ready for business when they open there doors

sorry guys, but you are a$$ backwards on this one

hope things work out for you. i know i will not be buying this intake now because of the way this group buy has been handled

Exactly, there are risks involved when starting a business and what not. If you want to get rich you have to play with fire sometimes. I never liked the idea of group buys, i rather have that money sitting in my CD and earning interest rather than letting some vendor holding on to it to pay for cost of producing a certain item.

and 99% of the time the deadline is never met, people are let on a wild goose chase and ultimately have no desire for that product anymore because they waited too long for it.
