Even still....... It'll still be $2,000+ for an updated Idrive and shadowline trim if you get sports package. I dont know if its worth it.

Seems to me that you'll pay an extra $1000 for the 09 over the 08 328i sedan based on all we have been provided so far. No one yet knows how much more the 09 iDrive costs. Of course, dealers will probably be selling 08s at better deals than the 09s until the 08s are gone.

I was talking about the 335i coupe. A similiar 2008 coupe equiped with sports package would cost $2,025 dollars more. $800 more in Base price, $350 more for sports package and $875 more for logic 7 which is standard for 08. All of this and I'm not even including tax and the fact that 09 might be less negotiable in terms of pricing compared to 08. And the only difference the 09 will have is updated Idrive and shadowline trims from the sports package compared to the similiarly equiped 08. So my questions is do you guys think its worth it to pay an additional $2,025 dollars not including tax for just the shadowline trims and updated Idrive? |

All those who think they can get a great deal on a 2009 within
a couple of months - they are dreaming. Sedans maybe sooner, not coupe. You can get a 2008 for under invoice, add the price difference for a 2009 model and add 0.9% rate if you buy it. All those things considered, you end up paying at least $10 grand more for your fancy multi-button iDrive. This is just pure damn. Jump on those last remaining 2008's as soon as you can. |

Unfortunately, it seems the remaining supply of MY 2008 E92s is rapidly drying up--options there may be limited. --LR

What is BMW doing?!?!?!?! I understand they are trying to make more money off each car and the US economy is terrible but raising prices on MSRP and options might not be the answer at this time...this one might back fire.........That 328 is looking real good right now LOL

Someone mentioned that the pricing was incorrect and had been 'recalled' by BMW.
Shouldn't we wait for the correct pricing?

Our friends in the EU and elsewhere are paying nearly double for the same car, so I'm OK with BMW NA's pricing decisions. Oh, and I definately agree with your calculations It is a good point to make and another reason why we will consider a 135i in addition to the E92 when replacing our E90 in 2009. |

Same. Code only changes for generational changes, not for refreshes.

E90 M3 color choices have been known for some time. Check this link... http://www.bimmerpost.com/goodiesforyou/2009order.pdf Unless there is a typo, no Space Grey for E90 M3s. Only regular E90's get it. Some people don't seem to be realizing that...

I'm totally bummed about the Sparkling Graphite. I had my car all designed... ready to go as soon as my lease was up in Feb. Now there's no good option for a dark color that's not black! I'll have to look at Tasman Green in person:
(should be an image here... find it at http://bp3.blogger.com/_VagH3b9TpaU/...a7e70ce5_o.jpg) but I have a feeling it's not going to do it for me... The other features sound great though - especially the new iDrive.

Well shoot, you can't make everyone happy, can you?
In regards to all the posts about the specific trim options, if y'all are that upset, just don't buy a BMW or mod the hell out of it after you get it. In regards to the price increases, please don't tell me that you're surprised by any of this. If you are, you really haven't been paying attention these last two years. I can't wait until BMW officially implements its policy of discouraging leases (by making leasing much less favorable to the leasees I'm sure). There's going to be a cacophony of whining so loud, I'm sure I'll be able to hear it from the Internet (it's done with pipes) right through to my computer speakers. |

I have it on good authority (thanks Michael!) that the updated sheet for today does not change any prices. It simply retracts the X5 xDrive30i being equipped with the premium sound package until further notice.
