That's not what I said.

Open cockpit cars are generally more "fun", as are manual cars, lighter cars, 2-seat cars, cars with a radio, cars that don't have so much power that they will kill you for any little mistake, RWD cars, etc.

Can you not see that the more performance a car has, and the more work it does for you, the less fun it becomes?

6.0 V8 in a Pontiac G8 GT. Loved that car, however, there is a replacement for displacement, ha. I'd take my current 3.0 l in my 340i over it all day.

Yeah, that sounds about right! Weirdly enough, running it in endurance races hasn't done anything to fix the oil drinking issue....

....how!?!? How did someone build one of those and say 'yup, that'll do nicely. Let's make lots more of these.'
Malaise era baby! I've done basic breathing mods which have helped move the powerband more towards the top of the RPM range. That means that during races i'm typically shifting at around 4100 RPM instead of 3700 RPM or so like when I first got it. Not making any power does have its advantages though. I don't care how big an engine is, if its only making 100ish hp, its not going to use that much gas.

At the end of the day though, its still a RWD, manual transmission race car. It'll put a smile on the face of anyone who races it.

Not sure about that we prepared a ford probe gt manual for lemons class racing. I didn't enjoy driving a 100hp car on the track at all.

It's not the size, it's how you use it.

Same here. 4.2L in the RS and actually had a B7 S4 at the same time, also 4.2. Never own both at the same time.

As everyone is moving to smaller, more efficient ways to propel themselves in a vehicle, I went the opposite direction. The newest car I own also has the biggest engine and the worst gas mileage of anything I've ever owned: 6.4L/392CI.
