Cool. I'm looking forward to this. I'm also glad to see the thread back on track. I'm really satisfied with the current map, and some of the new functionality will be fun to use to fine tune. I wonder if folks will start coming up with cool new parameter settings and post them up for people to try, although I think with the variable nature of fuel, elevation, and drivetrain variables, they might not apply across the board. Would be fun to try though!

I would tend to believe the Wednesday ETA, especially since I know you have been burned by giving out release dates once or twice before and would have to be fairly confident to give actual dates...

Of course, you didn't say which Wednesday LOL

Shiv,

I have the 29.2 progman update and am currently running the doomsday set-up. So this means I can run the Lag Fix set-up? Just want to make sure, Thanks.

Shiv,

It might not be possible for 3.1, but for possibly a future release is there anyway that we can have the datalogs time stamped & dated in the file name instead of data1, data2, etc... Reason being is if I forget to move the previous datalogs they get overwritten by the software. Also hot keys would be awesome at least to start and stop logging.

Just a suggestion.

Supposedly there is no time needed to adapt. If your fuel quality/octane supports it, the changed boost targets should be easily attainable and the ECU will be free to supply whatever ignition is necessary without throwing codes or pulling timing.

It's probably just my imagination, but it seeems like when I switch to the high boost map it takes a full throttle application or two for me to see 15psi (actually closer to 15.8psi, but then my DA is around 4500' in summer and bottoms out around 1200' in winter) on my gauge. Not sure what others see.

just wanted to clarify if I'm understanding all this I'm reading. As I'm waiting for the official release.

If I choose to have Valet when I start up my car. is it possible to set 'ON' to torque nanny, and 'OFF' to NON torque nanny?? would that work. and to go back to valet restart my car?

There are several benefits to the V3 upgrade now including even more stable boost control, overboost protection, benefits for doomsday users, the list goes on and on. Even without the impending V3.1 software functionality I would say yes, especially with an intake. The current maps are fantastic and with the new software your control over exactly how and when to apply the power is nearly unlimited.

Whether or not you get the V3 upgrade, please get an accurate boost gauge installed if you don't already, and monitor it.

Not to hijack this thread but a quick (and hopefully easy) datalogging question:

I recently got a set of the Forge diverter valves with a few different springs. What parameters should I monitor to see if I need to go from green (5-15psi) to yellow (15-23psi)? I'm hesitant to just toss yellow springs in after reading the bold red warning on the website about using too strong of a spring.

Take the red pill and see how deep the rabbit-hole goes.
