We drove a 2020 Explorer ST, 2022 Genesis GV70 3.5T AWD Sport & 2020 Acura RDX yesterday. She decided to skip the Lexus.

ST is too big for her. THat's fine. Interior is cheap. Especially for what they cost. I didn't care for the seat bottom. I'm not a big guy & it was way too short for me. Also cheap vinyl. Really Ford?!

We both loved the GV70.

RDX is a pass. We both hated that laptop style touch pad Acura is using. That, in turn, rules out a TLX as well.

Looks like it's going to be between a GV70, CX-5 Turbo or Stinger GT2 AWD.

Looks like it's going to be the CX-5 Signature because pricing on the Genesis GV70s that she likes (Trim & color wise) are scarce or more than she wants to spend.

We both like the GV70 3.5T AWD more, but is what it is.

A shame there is not one Elantra N within 50 miles to drive.

Good decision, the CX-5 is one of the best compact SUV's.

SHe drove the Signature trim CX-5 today. She had only driven her parents' lesser trim CX-5 prior and for $10k less, Mazda wins over the Genesis! So we'll order a 2024 CX-5 Signature & be done lol

We have a 2024 CX-5 Signature on order. Just waiting for Mazda to pick it up.
I already have crap on order for it LOL. Usual cargo tray, all weather mats, splash guards etc. Also carbon fiber pieces to cover the piano black interior stuff. That stuff is just daring you to scratch it.

Does she likes the carbon fiber wrap? Otherwise I'll let her scratch that piano black
Well done btw

If the easily scuffed gloss black interior is something you’re worried about, I certainly hope the CX-5 wasn’t ordered in Soul Red unless there are plans to clear bra the car.
