A device like this could intelligently alter the boost curve by adding slightly more boost at peak and adding a bit more where it tapers off. This is preferable to, for example, risking gernading your turbos by adding JB+ to Dinan that some are already foolish enough to try. Of course this would nuke your Dinan warranty but some don't seem to care. It would, however, bring the advantages of the Dinan tune - smooth power and better engine cooling - into the mix.
why not just buy a V3 or JB3 then?

15 min I can believe that, but some of these people claim ~2 minutes. I will pay $100 bucks to the first person who can install a complete piggyback tune from start to finish in 2 minutes and be able to start the car with no codes. You will also be recognized as the 'world's fastest piggyback installer'.

Seriously, I want to see this! $100 in 2 minutes!

3 - 8 minute install involving opening the ecu box is not an elapsed time for any (near) normal human being - you stay out of this

MAYBE you or shiv can do this - but this tune is supposed to be for the average joe = i say 45 minutes start to finish would be fast.
more than double that time if a mistake is made.

O.K. we now have new definitions of the pre revolutionary word: minute men.

but question:
are these guys who can install their piggies in under 5 minutes the same guys who service their wives in under a minute?

just my attempt to interject some humor into this thread - cause some of this stuff is a bit over the top.

my 2 cents

According to shiv, he should be able to completely install it in under 7 minutes... less than 2 minutes to get into the ecu box

how can someone who can install a tune in a few minutes take 2 minutes to remove just the bulkhead cover ???

this is getting funnier by the minute.

Sorry if any of my posts indicated that I really cared. Please forgive me. I now leave it in the more than capable hands of those who think this topic is really important.
