The Porsche had far superior traction due to having far less HP than the M6 and the engine over the rear.

You're right Palmball now you mention it about the headliner in the 335, it wasn't suede, just a different colour & fabric I think. My Masser had a full leather headliner, it was absolutely gorgeous, hand stitched to match the seats, one of my favourite features of the car to be honest and something everyone commented on. You'll love it (the whole car for that matter!!!)

Looking forward to the pics and congratulations

Why hang about when I like it, the car is there and I've saved some cash. TBH though...I'm not normally one to wait. Dunno how I waited 8 months for the M3???

Well done Palmball. Good Choice and welcome to the club

i got back from holiday last night and couldnt wait to get back in the car. I was nt dissapointed its fast as hell. it feels so much more expensive than the M3 from the inside it feels 40k more than the M3. yes youll only get 11mpg but each 11 miles is worth 30 in an M3.

A very cost effective mod i did was Kand N typhoon induction kit. Sounds like a CSL and adds a proven 25rwhp speed religion did it for about 500quid.

check out m5board .com on you tube below

Thanks Steve. Are you aware of many UK M6 owners in contact with each other...the M5/M6 board looks full of Americans and is certainly not a patch on the UK e90post forum!

I hope people don't mind me continuing to post on here when I dont own an e9x anymore...I feel like I'm hijacking it!

This place is all the better for the odd M6, Porker and MR2 thrown in. We are car enthusiasts first and foremost but with a particular fondness for e9x's obviously.

If my numbers come up I will buy an LP640 and would certainly continue to visit here!!!

Mate, this place is more than a BM forum, its a community, We should be all proud that people want to continue posting even when they move on to another car.

This means, its a nice place to be.

I'm now soooo excited

Sytner Leicester got the car up from London for me today and I've just been over to see it! I can't believe the condition it's in...it really is like brand new and it drives just as well as the 08-plate one I test drove last week.

They've also replaced the brakes and tyres all round - nearly £3k's worth of work....RESULT!

Trading it in...I actually got £35k for it which considering it's done 20k miles is a good price. In fact the stealer said that prices are now on the up...hence my good deal!

Sorry Carlos...I didn't mean to offend! Although I don't think you've asked a question which needs a reply (or have I missed it?)
