Yup 100% coupe. To be honest, I like all the interior colours apart from the greys (no offence to owners of cars with grey
![]() Just had a customer in the showroom who turns out has an Msport 335i coupe, and is selling soon, but it was a manual. Doh! |

I'll be using them a lot - for bikes (got two Thule bikes carriers for MTBs and a road bike) and surfboards (I surf a hell of a lot, used to compete, etc). After all, BMW say it's a "lifestyle" car...!!!
![]() Just wanted them off for pics... |

Well I've now put about 150 miles on the car - it really is everything I wanted and more.
Love the handling, love the comfort, love the engine. I spent a week half excited, half panicking (from when I secured it) because it was SO damn cheap! I've been looking at them for about 6 months - for a while they headed down towards £20k and I enquired about a few (mostly private sales). Then decent ones shot back up to £25-30k so I ended up looking for 330ds. Pretty much decided on one from Guildford then did a last minute check - this 335d came up and was: a) The perfec spec b) Had silly low mileage (16k) c) From Sytners (who have a great rep) I thought they'd accidentally labelled a 325d wrongly! So called, checked up, bought it blind and spent the week fretting. The car arrived on Friday, driven by the sales guy from Leicester completely immaculate. They threw in free delivery, free full Supagard treatment (inside and out) plus a "Pro" pack (full of goodies - must be £100 worth) fully serviced it (over £500), gave me a cracking price on the Astra and drove it back to Leicester. The Sapphire black would show ANY mark up very well - I can't find a single scratch or stonechip (it was fully prepared). The tyres all have loads of wear left (one is brand new), the interior is spotless and all checks (HPI, etc) are bang on. So rather pleased to have got a minter with a sunroof (it's the best sunroof I've had), sunblinds for our baby, the right colour leather and SE spec (I like stealth - and overusing brackets...) for an absolute steal. Happy days!! |

So the pressing question is - are the rear tyres 225 or 255 section?

I am a COMPLETE muppet - I looked at the rear and thought they look wideish so assumed 255s. When I bothered to actually look at the numbers, the rear are actually 225s too!!
Phew for tyre bills, not phew for me being such a fool! |

Hang on - how do you know that for sure, Carlos? The brochure says that the 17" SE wheels are 225 all-round, and this particular car actually has 225 wheels. How do you know you are right?
Anyone else with standard 17" SE wheels able to comment? I always thought 225 was correct. EDIT - Just checked RealOEM which also confirms 225 tyres all-round.

I have some 17" SE rims, there 9j wide and take 255 tyres from factory. They are coupe rims though I'd be suprised if BMW would Sell a coupe with one siZe and touring the other. Non 335 SE rims are 8.5j and take 225 section tyres
