yes is there a disk missing? or do we make one fom the DVD you sent?

unfortunatly this does not cover my 07 335 as there is no option to choose it (the latest it goes is 2006)... and does not recognise my VIN..

It must go later than 2006, as Scimitar335i posted a screenshot of the turbo disassembly on the first page.

Will hold off offering this for download until we get confirmation though - I don't want to utilize a ton of bandwidth if this isn't what people expect. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to tell what version this is myself.

For those with TIS installed choose 'Utilities', 'Version'. You're looking for the DVD version, not the TIS version. Or you can open C:\BMW95\tis\errlogs\tis.log and look for the line containing VersionDate. Finally, in the root of the DVD there's a file named LABEL with a DATE= field.

i dont know about the turbo disassembly pic... but I know it does not list the 07 335i e92 only the 06' for e90/ e92.. mine is a late o6 VIN

Still not 100% sure, so don't count it out yet.

I'll test using piezo's method tomorrow on an XP machine at work.

im not too pissed because $5 wont exactly kill me heh and it does still have allot of useful info.

Hopefully that will let us know what version/year this is.

There's a 2006 version floating around the net already, but yes. This one will cover all 2006.

Sorry guys, it's official. I've been working with PencilGeek (Mod at M3Post) and he has confirmed the data on the disk is not the 2009 TIS. It is the 07/2006 version, which seems to be the same as what's already been posted as a torrent here (and is floating around elsewhere).

If anyone finds or obtains a newer version of this (or anything else that's relevant), please shoot me a PM. I can help out with the distribution.

This is incorrect. The version posted here in P2P form is december of 2007. Not 07/06.

Even though this is an older version it still has tons of useful info and well worth the $5. I got mine just the other day and I'm more than happy with it. Thanks David!

Oh, forgot to ask - what's the scoop with the ETK disk? Is this something I should have expected as well? I see it mentioned in your instructions but I didn't get it with what you sent me. What's on that disk?
