You know what happened. I pulled over in a gas station to connect my laptop for logging before getting on the highway. I changed "0" to "1" in the valet mode and changed the speed limiter to "1" as well.

Just to clarify, as stated in the documentation, the "+" signifies nothing more than less top end boost taper. Nothing to do with methanol.

The only methanol-related suggestions has to do with Stg 4 which targets 16.5psi peak boost, which is a bit too much to support on pump gas consistently. The Stg 4+ version is the same but, again, with slightly less top end (6000rpm and up) boost taper.

LOL. I do notice the difference. I rarely WOT the car, I did it for logging purposes. The car felt great and powerful even in valet mode. Ever since I installed v4, I have been driving around the city at low speed, with instant power and better response since v3 and obviously stock. When I get a chance, I'll change the value back to "0" and do more data-logging with Map1 activated.

i loaded the new firmware and set future use 1 to "1", but everytime I press "ON" on the remote... it would switch to map 2. I thought the remote only turns the methanol kit ON or OFF, and it has nothing to do with map switch function now. my v4 does not switch back and forth b/w map1 and map2 automatically... my map auto switch function seems not to work. Did I set anything wrong?

Meth switching really hasn't been tested with v4. This is because we are in the process of converting it over to a progressively mapped tune. One that gradually slides between a pump gas map and a meth map based upon measured methanol flow (ml/min). If you want to run v4, might as well disable your meth for the time being. We should have the new progressive mapping feature within a week or so.

shiv, just outta curiosity, i'm running stage 3 AT 1-22 map now and although my target boost is 15~16psi, i rarely even hit 15 psi since i don't push it until red line as my car is super fast as is. just wondering if i try stage 4, will i expect to see much gain on most of driving on pump gas? i doubt i will ever be hitting over 16 psi anyways... but thought i'd ask...

so you are running Stage 3 without the intercooler? how's it working for you? I am so tempted to run Stage 3 but without DP in place I'm hesistant.

Why not working the other way around:

V4 control the ammount of methanol it needs for top performance and reliability:
send a signal (variable DC%) out of procede to control the flow of the pump. And with a small extra module integrating the driver mosfets, it could connect directly to the pump without an extra meth controller.

Not let a basic meth flow controller based only on the boost to control the meth...

can the V4 be set up to have 3 maps...
1) moderate boost 12-13psi tracking map,
2) high boost 14-15psi, and
3) 16 psi for race maps.

We are waiting for somethng like this. They are working on new user software. It should be 3 maps + an additional race/meth map.
