Just got some minor drive time today and I think it's a blend of the last two maps. I still need some WOT time but overall I'm very pleased with the new developments. Thanks Shiv.

I tried to custom tune the learning gain (Future Use 2) but I always see this bump of debug word 4 (+15%) till ~3800rpm.
If I increase the future use 2 value the debug word 4 decrease after ~3800rpm but I have no influence (future use 45-55%) on the bump.

According to the custom tuning guide this isn't an optimal situation. Maybe you can clarify the situation for me ..

Here an example of a 2nd gear pull (xi - no traction issues).
- Map 2 (2-23)
- future use 2: 55%
- ign Correction: 110%

I believe Shiv stated to do it in 3rd gear. I am not sure if that would make a difference in this case or not. Probably would, being that 3rd will load up the motor much more and make boost easier downlow.

Yes, he did. In the v3 custom tuning guide he explained that he uses the 3rd gear because 1st and 2nd gear have wheelspin/traction issues.
I don't have these problems with the xi ..

Talking

I usually run stg. 1/1+ because of the heat and humidity in Houston, but yesterday I loaded stg. 2 since the weather has been in the 50s or colder and 93 oct. is available.

The results were nothing short of amazing. I felt the difference instantly. Throttle response is ridiculous compared to the maps released in Jan/Feb. Wow...couldn't stop grinning. I was skeptical about the new maps, but the difference is seriously like night and day. Good thing I'm not too far from Mexico!!

To revive this thread again.

After waiting for the snow/wet roads to clear I finally loaded up V4 tonight and took the car out for a spin.

I loaded the MT 2/2+ maps.

My first impression was, hmm where did that whining noise I heard before go? AWESOME! I no longer had whatever whining noise I would hear at low rpms at partial throttle.

When I started out driving my engine was still cool and the car did seem slower than it was before. However, once the engine got warm, it was absolutely amazing. I guess this is the boost limiting/engine safety feature.

Throttle response is spot on.

Overall summary: Love it!

Try with future use 2 at 46% with 3nd gear pull since 3000 rpm and post the log

How come none of the new updates are not posted on your site? It still shows the beta maps from Nov last year.

still, just do it in 3rd gear. 1st/2nd are too short to get any good info. 3rd is best for these logs

I just wanted to add after really getting a chance to test these new maps out finally after an epic snow storm and FMIC install, this new update is in FACT the best I have felt with the car...The throttle response is the best yet down low to mid rpm band...I am absolutely speechless at how smooth the car feels...Shiv great job man...This new maps is so much more refined than the initial maps and firmware for V4....Just waiting for the new goodies including the progressive meth mapping...I have already done the update and able to log meth flow...Shiv what is the channel setting that we should use for the Debug byte 7??
