8.99/gal. In rancho santa fe. Street blaze 100 from Vp. The power is amazing! I flew earlier. I can still feel the adrenaline. I have never felt a car pull that hard before. The 100 octane is supposed to really help up top though something about combustion efficiency or some thing.

Lucky! I wish we haad that here!! We have to buy racing gas in 5 gal cans for like 70!! f- that!

the higher the octane the better it resists detnation (pinging) espically at high rpm..

If you are running stage 2 or 3 and getting detonation with the default setting of 100 you should raise that number to 120 or 140 to take care of your knock or detonation or ping (all the same thing). You could also go back to stage 1 and begin to lower Ignition corr. from 100 again as long as your data logs are clear of drop outs( ignition retard) This is how I understand this setting and I believe it to be accurate.
So when you get detonation, will the car get misfires? Or what will the car feel like if anything?

TIA

You really wont feel much or anything. The DME will simply pull back timing. You wont get any codes. Misfire is completely unrelated.

Exactly what Shiv says, not a misfire more of just a change or pause in you cars acceleration. That's why I suggest data logging. Its the only real way to see it.
