Well, I haven't spoken with my CA, but there seems to be some delay in general. A client of mine is waiting on his 328i, and it arrived on the shop before ours; it's been sitting in Concord now for a week, so I don't know what's up but it looks like they're experiencing delays :/

I think "end of December" (which my pessimist of a CA said way back when) is probably pretty likely at this point.

Jackson, that's a huuuge discrepancy. Sorry to hear, sounded like you would get it this weekend. Could he offer an explanation, besides the fact that he spoke to soon?

I dunno what the deal is, my rep wouldn't even give me the boat's expected arrival date, he just said "next week", but did give me the VIN. Very non-commital, and being over email, I couldn't pressure him. So I looked up the boat's schedule myself, and emailed it back to him

Unfortunately for me, the Maersk has been delayed 1 day now. It was supposed to dock in Halifax on 12/14, and now the Willenius site says 12/15. And if you guys are having train issues, it looks like I'll need a small miracle to take delivery by 12/23

But, there's still a chance!

Even if your cars arrive in Concord on Monday. The dealers should get them by Tuesday and have them prepped by Thursday for pick up at 6pm, so yur laughing

Someone better get their wheels b4 the holidays, and it should be you guys for sure, since you all had sept/oct orders. My order went in on Nov 6th, apparently just in time, cause it got built and shipped out by Nov 30.

I have taken the bull by the horns and called CN myself. Spoke to someone who looked up the shipment via my VIN.

My car is on Train 305 currently in Moncton. The car is actually on car carrier ETTX 701595, obviously with a bunch of other cars including Mercedes and VW's. The estimated time of arrival at the McMillan Yard (Concord, I guess) is Friday, Dec. 15, 2006 at 4:35 pm.

HOWEVER, it is not scheduled for unloading until Monday, Dec. 18, 2006 at 11pm! (Either the yard is very busy or the autoport doesn't work on the weekend - or both.)

Sweet, Jackson comes to the rescue again. I would bet money my car is on the same train as his, so there we have it.

I'll still be surprised if we get the cars by the holidays. Always the pessimist, I know; but it seems like even once they are at Concord it can take up to a week to get shipped to the dealership. My friends 328 has been chilling in Concord for 8 days now.

Just got off the phone with my CA, he says his info shows the train arriving in Concord on the 16th. That doesn't matter because they won't unload until the 18th/19th. He says "if we're lucky" the car will be at the dealership late next week. So pretty much what we already knew. Let's all cross our fingers!

Trains 305/306
Train 306 runs from Joffre, Quebec to Saint John, and 305 runs from Saint John to Toronto. They handle general merchandise, including boxcars, tank cars, autoracks and sometimes container cars.

305 and 306 can be viewed as running in two segments, Toronto-Moncton and Moncton-Saint John. Train 305 runs from Saint John to Moncton in the afternoon, then the power returns to Saint John with train 306 early the next day. Meanwhile, train 306 from Toronto will arrive in Moncton and pick up 305's cargo, and return to Toronto as train 305. Often the engines on the Moncton-Saint John leg will stay the same for a week or more.

Have you got your VIN yet and, if so, do you know what ship your going to be on. Once you know, you've got to get your boat's thread going because it definitely helps pass/measure the time until your car arrives.

Got the VIN on Dec 1. CA confirmed status 90 (dispatched) on Dec 11 and status 93 (at port) today. So I may make the Manon if I'm lucky; if not that then the Atlantic Cartier.

Any idea if the WW site lags at all with the Cargo Tracking info?

And props on your call to CN! It seems that everybody who tries to get anything out of them gets shot down.

Yeah, the WW site seems to lag a bit. However, it seems that the BMW computer lags a little also. Keep trying and your car will show up! Good luck for getting on the Manon.

Ya, I don't know what's up with my friends 328i. It's been in Concord (confirmed) since the 7th of December, it was unloaded on the 9th. No idea what the deal is but I think his might be an isolated case.

I decided to try my luck with CN as well and just got off the phone with them. They confirmed that the train my car was on has already arrived into Concord, ON (early this afternoon around 2:30 I believe he said). Its last stop before Concord was in Montreal, QC and the train is now on its way toward somewhere in Alberta (nowhere town). Not sure if this information regarding the train number (305/306) etc is contradicted here but either way they guy has said if the car was to be dropped off in Montreal then that happened yesterday... fingers crossed... i might get the car by the 23rd (Otto's is open on Sat Jan 23rd). I also sent this information to my CA hoping he can refute or confirm it. I'm losing my mind.

I just received an email from my CA telling me the car is getting loaded on a Truck in Montreal and that he'll have an update for me early next week. He also said that it is definitely ahead of schedule and BMW Canada is working hard to deliver every car available before end of the year. Not sure how that works for me.. i'm looking for delivery before XMAS..
