Besides that I'd love to see the pricing on some of the stuff you guys are putting on these 335's to get them to hang with a stock GTR. This argument is just dumb.
I understand where you are coming from but the bold part is just dumb. It would take a lot of money indeed to get in the league of a stock GTR but there is also already a very large price gap between the 2. This entire arguement is pretty stupid to begin with because the OP admitted that while he could keep up with a stock gtr he also said that the tuned one pulled 8-10 lengths on him no problem. I really dont understand where the rage is coming from and the whole "my car is better than your car" arguement always ends up making everyone look like idiots.

You are obviously incredibly biased and i might be a little bit too if i owned your very nice GTR but have a little restraint please

If you take driver skill out of the equation, it doesn't even make sense to match them up, GTR wins hands down.

There are only a handful of heavily modified 335's in the world that can possibly (barely) beat a STOCK GTR. Give credit to where it's due, the GTR is a masterpiece.

I considered it over the 335i but I needed a daily driver instead of a weekend car, so it was an easy win for bmw.
It's impossible explaining this to you.

Probably because your arguments are weak and/or invalid.

A stock gtr makes about 420 at the wheels and weighs 300 pounds more. Not tough to figure out that a 335 could stay with a gtr for a bit..match up a 335i with dtc and Id bet on the 335 from a roll.
Which is exactly what I said. You need 450+rwhp just to "hang" with a STOCK GT-R. Modify the GT-R and it's game over.

Apples to oranges.

Stock vs Stock....GT-R kills 335's.

Modified vs Modified....GT-R kills 335's.

Modified (335) vs Stock (GT-R).....GT-R is still lengths ahead by 160.

I really don't see how anyone is even arguing here. It's beyond retarded.

Op makes 3 posts and then leans back in his chair to read the enlightening information.

Some guys seem like they would like to choke another while others may ask someone in the thread out on a date.

I may be biased, but also have knowledge of the other side. Previous car was an E92 M3 and my brother has a 335.

Fact: Stock Nissan GTR 1/4 mile around 11.6-7 @ 120ish.

Fact: Fully modded n54 1/4 mile at 11.3 @ 130ish.

Are you getting upset? Now you're going to say.. "but a fully modded n54 vs. stock gtr blah blah" ignoring the initial argument.

Shall we get into 60-130's? Or how about the Texas Mile?

Listen.. the GTR is a great car - but it can happen. It isn't just this forum though, it seems like the GTR nut-huggery extends far.

Are you retarded or can you just not read? My first reply in this thread already stated how a couple of 335's are faster than the GTR STOCK.

By the way, the fun fact you listed is hotrod who has a freak of a car. Besides him and I'd say about 4 other cars, no one else is in that range. So get

here ya go:

never said it wasn't, but the pure fact that we need to add tune, intake, intercooler, downpipes, meth, nitrous, race gas to get to that point should say something.

I think our cars are amazing in pretty much every respect, but they are not in the same category as the GTR, bottom line.

GTR35 and 335i are not in same range for comparison, if you want to compare, better compare with M3 dude.
