I have the purge solenoid grounded here...I think I am also going to ground the other meth solenoid and the nitrous solenoid here also...Here is the location of where I am going to ground it later..I think from looking at your pics of your install, your using this location for your mounting of the nitrous solenoid!

Thats a good ground. I(dumbass) recently just snapped the bolt off the held that headlight box that you have your relay mounted on so I had to ground it there in that location. Its just temporary until I can figure out how to fix it. I actually have my nitrous and meth solenoid grounded on that nut on the strut tower.

In nitrous mode (future use 1=100%), the roadspeed output doubles as an intelligent window switch output. This provides the ground to the nitrous relay when the engine conditions are met. The power to the relay is supplied by either a switch or (in my case) a steering wheel mounted button. When both conditions are met, the relay kicks on and drives both the nitrous solenoid and the secondary meth solenoid. And that same 12v activation signal is also fed back into the mapswitch input (what the remote relay box used to plug into), forcing the Procede to use Map2 which is mapped for nitrous. Pretty neat stuff. I just haven't gotten around to writing a schematic yet. Been so busy with everything else. But it's on the top of my list when I get back from vacation in a week.
Shiv Anyone can make sense of this with wiring? |

Technically with a trunk mounted bottle it can be kept closed like that, but hatchback or cabin mounted locations they require you to drill a hole in the floor and run the pipe through to the outside. |

Why did this thread stop?
What happened with this? It seems like everyone was nitrous happy for a while but I haven't seen anything lately.

I think they are waiting for Shiv's nitrous integration. If the Procede can dial in the correct AFRs, then there is no reason any aftermarket nitrous controller couldn't be used.

Yep still waiting on Shiv to give me the wiring schematics to the Procede...Hopefully it will come out soon...
The wait is kind of torture because I have been waiting for over 2 months for the wiring to the Procede, but I guess Shiv wants everything to be perfect before he introduces to the public nitrous... Last edited by cn555ic; 08-05-2010 at 08:03 AM.. |
