He is no longer banned; I think he just decided to never come back. There have been a few who aren't perma-banned who called it quits after the temp ban.

Now that I look back on that last post of his, you are correct. He told me I'm not smart. What's funny about that is the fact that it wasn't an insult. We were just joking around. It didn't make any sense to me. He and I started out butting heads, but well before that point, we had gotten used to each other's mentality. I'm wondering if it wasn't a previous post that did him in, but I don't really see much of anything that I would have considered worth infraction points. But, then again, I'm not a moderator. Back then, it seemed like they had an infraction generator on "random". It's not so bad now.

I'm sure he's just one of the guys who decided to jump ship when this forum started taking a turn for the worst. A lot of these guys we're talking about are voluntarily staying away from this forum.

He wasn't a bad guy either.

Not that I'm a super active member here, but I didn't mind JayKay. I can't say that I disagreed with all his views regarding certain persons, though. However, I just agree to disagree and largely ignore those persons since I have better things to do than get into it with someone over the internet. mpimping's threads were just kinda out there. They'd go well over at Sherdog, though.

In the end, though, being a mod/admin is a thankless job. I'm a mod on another car forum and it tends to be a "you're damned if you do, damned if you don't" thing.

You'd have to go through like 50 posts to get to a few that are related to the original post...
