Mate, apologies for the massive miscommunication that occurred last Sunday. Christine can get us all back by giving us a massive ass-whooping through the twisties.

The N52 lifters are usually a quick fix, so hopefully there's no need to thrash someone else's car

Good to know you will be there either way. I bet you can't wait until you can take the 320d all the way to 3500rpm vs your N52 at 6500.

There's a service bulletin for the ticking noise of the N52. You should do a search for it in the engine section.

It's 'normal' in the sense that almost all N52s experience it. However, it should be up to them to fix.
