Great news! I've been having some misfire issues as well. Now if Shiv can fix my high-altitude issues I'll be really happy! Apparently the Procede autotuning needs to be sped up slightly to keep up with the really quick changes in atmospheric pressure like we see here in Denver.

I'm still looking for a direct answer regarding the snow vs labonte failsafe. Jeez, at this point I'm going to assume people are protecting labonte until they may or may not deliver.. I have no problem getting the snow and adding it to the v kit. I just don't like fussing with meth issues. Thx to anyone that either pm's me or posts an honest take.

In a nutshell, so far my SP flow sensor has handled 100% meth for 3 weeks and counting. The labonte unit is good for 70/30 tops. They both work with the JB4/Procede.

Thanks, I have read the thread... This is good clarification though. I'm not as ballsy as you and others running 100% meth. So, did you have ANY issues running a 70/30 mix with the labonte?

Meth is an issue that needs to be sorted out. I believe that the first company that partners with a flash and piggy and is proven good to go on the failsafe end will clean up on sales. 2c

you will quickly be running 80/20 or better real soon. I got the most ignition timing at 100% meth. If you don't mind spending the cash, I'd just get the SnowPerformance and be done with it. Snow Performance seems real confident that it will be fine on 100% meth. And so far in three weeks it has no problems.

Thanks bro, I appreciate your post. I will get the SI from snow and run it as you documented earlier. Too bad labonte didn't fix this or promise a free fix or free trade in for those with the v Kit - or - those who sourced out the kit basically as u did

I just found a cheap SnowPerformance unit and figured I'd take the leap of faith, because in theory there is no reason why it wouldn't work aside from a different reading output. Safe to say, the cost of used SnowPerformance flow sensors have just gone up

well that's the beauty of progressive meth, if the flow sensor craps out, the tune won't transition to high boost.

True . But this concept is left for those on the meth fence.. Those who think and have the brains to do it correctly. Only about 5 % on This forum can pull off a meth install regardless of tune without Going through the easy issues

On this platform, its pretty damn idiot-proof if you have the hardware.

Its pretty simple install for those of us who have no fear in ripping the car apart, but its far from a novice install thats for sure...Even though hardware is pretty idiot proof, its actually doing it which scares many....I have alot of people asking me to install their meth setup but I decline because with meth its not just installing it, but you have to CONSTANTLY maintain that system and I am not looking forward to problems when they arise and have to troubleshoot it...Not fun at all.
