My car felt the same with >50% throttle. You could feel the car jerk and stumble as revs climb and the car had trouble building boost. It somewhat felt like a fueling issue and I was also concerned with the health of my HPFP, but I never encountered the other side-effects associated with a HPFP failure.

I removed the AP tune and spent some time driving around last night-- everything felt normal and the engine seems to respond as it should 100% stock. I have not found any new DTCs since removing the tune.

3-4 minutes, depending on the speed of your internet connection, but you'll need a live Internet connection to allow the APM software to retrieve the new firmware once the handheld is connected. I think new firmware revisions are compiled or wrapped in a ~25MB ROM package.

Yeah, same here with the stumbling feel. I grabbed some data logs with the AP so I'm hoping to get those off to cobb if they see my posts here.

I just uninstalled the ap. I haven't driven it yet (sitting in it right now running bav tech). I have a check engine light on the car after uninstalling the ap. I plugged the AP back in and did a scan for codes and it came up with non now that it's been uninstalled.

Just did a scan with the BT cable and got the following 2 faults: CED4 and CF33
Any ideas what these could be? Fuel pump related or something from the AP?

FWIW, when I did a scan with the AP it didn't show any codes

Are these codes active following the AccessPORT uninstall? Would you mind trying a reset routine and re-scan with the BT to see if they return?

I also noticed a SES light illuminated after uninstalling the AP. The handheld did not reveal any pending or active DTCs and unfortunately I don't have a BT cable to dig deeper. I performed one more reset routine before I unplugged the AP and the light went off.

I hope your data logs are better than mine. I failed to notice I had AFR toggled off. It may be a default setting that I hadn't noticed before I started recording.

BTW, what rom do you have? I'm 0044CC0IJE0SIEE1S and am experiencing some oddness all of a sudden. So I uninstalled my ap from the car, plugged it into my laptop, checked for data runs and saw that it only saved my most recent run. i did like 5 runs and it only saved the most recent. D'oh, should have done it one at a time. The only data run I have right now is a WOT one I did last, not the one at 50% that had crazy boost oscillation.

i'm not sure if I want to clear those codes with the BT cable because if they are legitamite non tuner codes such as HPFP then I would assume get it to the dealer and fixed then try this whole thing again. I'm just trying to figure out what those codes are before I wipe them. BTW, the serivice engine soon light did go away after stop and starting the car again.

On top of that i thought why not update the firmware on the AP. So I did and of course I already had the AP uninstalled from the car so no big deal right? Well, I just tried to reinstall the AP on the car and now I'm getting "unsupported vehicle". Damn, now I can't go out and get more data runs. Dumping rom again.

Reason your rom in not recognized is because you didnt update your ap, you actually back tracked. Make sure the beta box is checked before you update.

Yep, that is exactly it. Rechecked Beta version in the options and am updating the ap. I have two laptops, one that I did the intial update on and my second "car only" laptop so I'm updating it to current beta and will do another 50% data log.

BTW, tried to do a ninja edit, but you reply way too quick

Here is a data log of my 50% throttle from a stand still. Car is auto and was in DS mode. I had no issue with loss of traction. I'm not good at the whole graphing thing so if someone wants to give this a whirl then by all means, go ahead. The AFR looks a little too lean to me, but not sure what is acceptable for this car.

You are actually not at 50 percent throttle. According to the the throttle blade, it is pinned open, the boost over shoots and throttle closes. Are you sure that you even have a map installed or you doing this in valet mode? Because your boost looks stock to me

I unmarried the AP today and although the AP shows no codes the BT scanner had a bunch of module faults. I suspect there are certain codes that none of the piggies or the AP could read or clear.

I definitely do have stage 1 93 loaded. In the same runs that I recorded this one I was able to go wot and hit about 11-12psi. I can't say it's dead at 50% in my scenario without measuring where my foot is on the peddle, but I'm about half way to flooring it. When I uninstalled the ap and tested the same thing I didn't get the same boost oscillations and it stayed right at 2.5-3psi. Clap, this is the new 2.00 map. I know you are using some special map from Cobb, but have you tried 2.00?

Also, imperator is experiencing a similar issue.

The Procede reads DME codes the same way that the BT Tool does. Same goes for clearing. So if the BT tool can do it, so can the Procede. The code request/clear command is pretty simple. So I'm thinking that if the AP can't do it, it may have something to do with a ROM mismatch. The same cause for the codes in the first place. I have a hard time believing that they aren't using the correct code read/clear command. But ultimately Robb will be best suited to comment.

If you would like, you can go back to the release version v1145. In APM, uncheck the "Check for beta firmware". Update the AP and you will be back working again.

I'm very sorry for the inconvenience.

I am using v200 maps, mine simply hit a little more boost. I never had any wierd issues with mine though.

After I unmarried the AP I reinstalled my V4 and updated it to V5 with the latest firmware/maps. During that process isn't there a step that clears codes through the procede? After updating to V5 I decided to check the car for codes with the BT scanner and found a bunch left over from the AP that isn't piggy related. (cluster fault, footwell module fault, tpms faults etc). I have tpms sensors on btw.

The strange part is that even with the BT scanner I have to click on each module to be able to clear them. The clear all doesn't really clear them out even though it says it did.

The current release of the AP only clear the codes from the engine and transmission. Later this week I will release an update that will clear codes in all the modules as you have to speak to each module individually.

Cheers,
Rob

Ah I see what you mean. They aren't clearing with the normal code clear command because they aren't powertrain related. For that, you'll have to go through the individual modules independantly via BT Tool. I've been meaning to get those non-powertrain code clear commands added to the Procede's command center. Need more hours in the day...

Which transmission do you have in your car? Mine's a steptronic. Clap135 has a 6-speed manual I believe.
