Just funny how a photogs mind works. U see a scene and shoot it one way, I see the way you shot a scene and find a scene within that scene.

Thanks... yeah, I know what you mean. I actually had a better idea for a shot, but it would require the sun to show its face at some point before the end of the competition. And sadly, it wouldn't surprise me if it was cloudy and snowy here until then.

There is one "object" I'm surprised no one has submitted a picture of yet.

ok, i would lik to include this one, which was taken about a year and a half ago in San Diego.

i was on a moving boat out under Coronado Bridge when i saw this crane. i passed by 2 cranes with the sun setting behind it, but i didn't get the first one.

i had one more chance to get the shot i wanted and with a bit of luck i got this one.

D300 + 18-200 VR

I have a couple crane shots, they are fun subjects at sun set... get lots of colors behind them.

maybe i should submit mine instead of the corny one of my girlfriend.
