hi

this video may help a little there is a sound inside a cabin catless dps and hpf exhaust, but yes i am also waiting for full video inside a car 335i+catless dps / hpf exhaust+stock dps

Big sigh.

The strong desire for a windows up video is to see if there's drone....which isn't produced by what was in the video. The ideal video would be of you crusing at 60-65mph in 6th gear varying in throttle input.

On a side note, the whole video sounded abnormally quiet.

I only have a crappy digital camera to take video. The sound is not so good ill take more video when I meet up with michael from ets. He said he has a good camcorder.

Just watched the videos and I can definitely tell this thing drones. Did not really need a video to prove this given the design of the exhaust.

+1 Watching the video the drone annoyed the heck out of me....I wonder what HPF's perception of drone means, and the video didn't even show the car under heavy load...Anyhow thanks for the video of the cabin area noise level....This will help people make a decision on the exhaust..
BTW What is really needed is crusing speed and the RPMS around 2200-2600 which will tell if there is drone...Revving the engine at 4000 is not what most people do during cruising speeds where the drone is the MOST ANNOYING!

You need to be cruising at 6th gear and rpms around 2200-2600...I know you can say that you never do that and keep rpms over 3000, but overall majority of people dont do this~!

Congrats! Glad to see you enjoying it!

Guys this system is not for everyone, this has been stated over and over, and IMO saying this is just a muffler delete is just being down right ridiculous.

System looks great and glad AWD is enjoying it!

It's really quite sad that HPF still hasn't put together a good video of their $2k exhaust. Not saying that every other exhaust manufacturer has great videos out there; but they're not the ones claiming this is a magical straight-piped system that is drone free.

The parking lot 1st gear bursts are silly. So is the decible meter for this intents and purposes. Even the "real" video wasn't even more than parking lot bursts. It is NOT right for customers like AWD to be foreced into playing HPF representative and demanding for pictures and video from him..but since HPF isn't coming in here to promote the product, that's the natural path of inquirie.

And for the love of god, can I just get a frickin cell phone picture of the magical rubber drone eliminator? From the HPF videos, it looks like it doesn't exist!

I wanted the weight savings of the exhaust but from the videos it seems like without the cats it would be to loud for everyday driving. Nearly sounds like it was drone at 3000 rpm but u were lifting of the throttle slightly to reduce the engine load.
