Ok I got the DIC maps on there and the car feels phenomenal. I wish it were not raining so I could really feel it without flying off the road but at 40 MPH in 4th floored, it spins the tires. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd are all useless in the cold rain on almost toasted tires.

I have never adjusting anything in the user adjustments menu before, so tell me if I did this right. I wanted map 1 to run the same boost as map 2(have enthusiasts version), so I went in the user map adjustments and put the boost at the same percentage map 2 read and hit apply and ok. After that when I started the car and made the fuel gauge display the target pressure it said 14.5. I thought map 2 was 15.5? Did I do this wrong? The car feels a hell of a lot faster.

I just installed the DIC maps only to find it snowing when I open my garage to go for a test drive. Amazing since it only snows three to four days a year around here.

Oh well.

I can't wait for Shiv to give DIC publicly.

Were the 1/21 non-beta maps going to be released? Or rolling right on with the DIC map?

Loaded DIC and took her out for a spin today. Feels great! With the 1-21 maps from a few weeks ago, there was noticeable mid-range improvement, but I couldn't feel the low-end gains as much as some of you.

With 2-7 DIC, the gain in low end torque is noticeable, and the car pulls strongly and smoothly throughout the entire range. I feel like it's pulling stronger for a longer duration, like there's more power under the curve. Definitely test w/ DTC pressed once.

I like the feeling of power on tap, kinda like a sleeping tiger ready to pounce. Will test more tomorrow. Shiv continues to surprise. Dunno how he does it

I just played with my new DIC this morning on the way to work.

First thing I noticed was a MUCH smoother idle on a freeeeezing startup (15 deg F). The car usually stumbles a little bit for a minute or two, and after this update it was smooth as butter. Unfortunatly my commute is so short that by the time I get to my office the car has just warmed up... that being said, driving around with a cold engine was noticably smoother, and the one full boost pull I did before pulling in to park was very nice. Much improved over the previous update.

My experience exactly. Almost eery how smooth the idle was at start up. My car takes most of the drive to work to warm up but I did get a couple WOT runs in and it felt strong and smooth. I'll try some highway runs tonight.

I also noticed the smoother idle in the cold. I put about 100 miles on the new map. Off boost response is fantastic. The car feels more and more like an NA car with a bigger motor with every update. 14 psi never felt so good.

I saw some on on craigslist offering DIC for free

Seriously, the new maps seem really smooth in the mid range, very linear transition. I did about 10 2 through 4 pulls this morning and the car screamed! You may not believe it , but lost traction on the 4th gear shift on the highway with meth at 19psi. I also noticed that it looks like MPG has improved, but I'll have to give it a couple of tanks to verify. Good job Shiv!
