It's been Samba-K's for me since junior high. I tried those Chuck Taylors back in HS and thought they were the most uncomfortable, useless things on the planet. The Sambas are pretty much all I wear besides Docs (work/nicer outfits). Between the Docs and the Sambas, they've been the most reliable, comfortable shoes ever.

And then there was the 7 years in the Corps where I found out Corframs are in fact the worst invention known to man.

EDIT: And Birks for when it's nice outside or around the house. They're comfy too.

I wear Nike Delta Force High AC and Nike SB Mavrks. I switch off everyday, or on what I'm wearing.

So I asked a few friends and co-workers and they said "converse shoes are comfortable and they go with everything". I guess that's the best answer I'm ever gonna get...haha

At a bachelor party last year when everyone was leaving the house, people got their shoes mixed up because nobody could tell them apart. It's funny to me because you can tell that a house is Asian by the Honda and Toyota cars parked in their driveway. Nowadays you could also tell by all the Converse shoes at the mat.

Anyhow, I don't have a problem with any of it. I'm just curious as to why they are so popular (perhaps more so with Asians?). Thoughts?

this is stupid
