I have a same issue w/ my e815 and bluetooth connectivity. After the phone shows the connected message, it shows disconnected message. I took my car in twice for this issue, and they are keep saying that they enabled the bluetooth.
I got my TCU replaced due to ASSIST problem, and it has not worked ever since. I know it's been quite a while since the last post, but does anyone fixed their cars w/ this issue? |

BMW has a bulletin out on the BT issue. It has been out now for about five-six weeks. Your dealer should have access to the bulletins. It is an acknowledged issue with the 2006 3series. My car had the disconnect issue from day one and after two new E815 phones the dealer attempted to resolve the problem by replacing the TCU with no luck. My second service receipt notes BMW is researching the issue. Other posts indictate the fix is availailable in January, 2006. I spoke with my SA last Friday and BMW is sending the fix for my car. I am scheduled for service on Thursday and will post the results. The software upgrade takes all day.

I received an email from BMW Canada telling me they now have a solution and asked me to book an appointment with my dealer to correct the issue.
Hope it works. Will update you guys when I get it. |

Similar problem fixed on with a Blackberry by CIP 20.0.2
My bluetooth only worked about 25% of the time with my Blackberry 7130e (10/05 production 325i no iDrive). I got my software upgraded to CIP 20.0.2 a week ago, and my phone has connected 100% of the time since.
