I'm not too worried about that as I'll be able to use the 50% rule to hand back the 335d if depreciation takes a nasty turn..
The plan is to debut the F32 at the Paris motor show next year, then sell it early 2013.

If you pay £32k today in 3 years time you will find it loads easier to move your car than people currently trying to sell. even if you only get £15k back you probably havent lost as much as 08 plates today. heck even 10k might still be on a winner. dont forget no M Sport until 2013/14

If you want to see the future of the F30 go look at the F20 and see what thats like, i see nothing in the F cars that i cant live without.

All i need is:

Engine
Gear Stick
Brakes
Wheels

The rest is a bonus :P
Take a look at the F10, much nicer than the 5 series it replaces.

I think this is true. Unless I keep the 330d for a long time, I'm going to get ass probed when I trade it in. Probably should have just bought a 530d for 5k more. But it's only money.

After 17 months?
I doubt it!

Remember if you borrow £30,000 you can only hand back once £15,000 is paid off, and if you get a 40% residual over 48 months that 50% point will be hit around the 40th month.

I'm not desperate to always be in the newest car... What I mean is: Sooner or later, I can get out: And not suffer the depreciation (Should it occurr) myself. This seems much more sensible than paying out right for this car in the current climate?

We have a 2010 E90 with the new HDD based Nav, and an M6 with the old Nav.

The difference is night and day, and were it not for a 507bhp V10 to distract me, the nav in the M6 would drive me mad.

He's more or less got a point although not 2008 maybe

Theres AUC cars with 30k miles on 59/10 plates for 33-35k? Seems utter madness when a new car can be had for around this figure...

Just my tuppence worth but but if it's coming down to which idrive system is in the car over the actual cost I'd have to favour on the side of the £££ as opposed to the latest CIC.
I've used the new CIC a few times in loaners I've had from the dealers but although it's better than the previous system I wouldn't go out my way to find a car with it for a load more dosh.
