Like I said, if VRSF's FMIC works just as well as the competition for nearly 1/2 the price, it's a steal. When manufacturers like VRSF make quality products for a significantly reduced price, it's HUGE for the consumer because it forces the competition to reduce their prices to remain profitable. SO I applaud companies like VRSF & hope to see them to continue to succeed on not only the N54 platform, but all platforms that have aftermarket potential |

Can we all just be friends and appreciate the car, the platform, the product, and the price
The logs will come as it has been pointed out by many. I'll have my set of logs too. This merely was just a thread to show everyone the IC before initial debut to general public. Let's also keep in mind the warranty and stuff on VRSF vs competitors. Regardless, I'm happy, i feel a difference. I'll have logs this weekend. |

So if you said LOGS you probably meant;
I'd like to see logs, and you should post oil temp, coolant temp, ambient temp, hell throw in humidity and altitude, include the full datalog showing boost, and the all important IAT - and you'd need to do at least a couple 2-3-4 pulls to show anything that we could use as a basis of comparison with other IC's (with a similar resolution of data backing them up). Also please do this in ambient temps over 90 degrees F with a stock e90 pre-LCI bumper out front... See guys without that the "logs" you want are fairly meaningless, you would do better asking for pressure drop at a flow which can be compared to other cores, a few 2-3-4 pulls with this and with a leading fmic (say, AMS? Helix?) to compare IAT creep same day, same temps. Then wait for the anecdotal stuff to cloud your judgement anyways!

Again, I'll still be more than happy to provide logs but in order for a fair comparison, we'll have to use the same method our competitors use to judge how well the product works. |

5" version with stock couplers will be ready in 6-8 weeks
That one will be as bolt on as the stock intercooler. I personally prefer the removal of the stock connectors since they're an obvious restriction and almost every intercooler on the market (ETS, AMS, Helix) removes the stock connectors as well. The removal of the stock connectors are completely reversible in case the car is put back to stock & 100% worth the 20 minutes it takes to remove/reinstall. |
