I also did ED. Ordered March 23rd. Produced June 19th. ED July 17th-Drop off Munich July 27th.

My car is on the truck on its way to Mountain View, CA. Will be at the dealer today, will be PDI'd tomorrow, and I will pick it up tomorrow evening!!! OMG, OMG, OMG!

Congrats man...I'm jealous..

Make sure it's not too dark out when you pick it up. You want to thoroughly check your car for any minor damages during the delivery process and/or from your dealer.

I have not heard from my CA yet, but I did call the trucking company.

They said it was delivered this morning at 10:00a

Evidently, Waggoners Trucking handles all deliveries out of the Oxnard VPC.

Should anybody else want to call and check, the number is 800-449-3195.

Tell them you'd like to know if a car you bought is on one of their trucks.

They will ask you for the last 8 digits of your VIN number.

Thanks e-ticket! I called Cunningham today and said they had no info yet??? then the trucking company you provided and get voice mail boxes even though we are still within business hours. I'll keep trying. I love it how most of us are more "on top" of these cars than the dealers...

I called the emergency line... (800)999-9097 from the trucking company.
The guy told me only dispatchers can track the vehicles with the vin... guess I'll be calling at 6am.... ggggrrrr!

I called my CA today and they told me my car was being loaded to be sent to San Diego. They said it should arrive at the dealership (BMW of San Diego) tonight or tomorrow morning. I should be able to take delivery sometime tomorrow! I can't wait!!!

I cant contain the excitement!!!! I called the trucking company at 8 this morning and they said my vehicle is "on it's way to the dealer as we speek".... should be there some time today. Looks like i'll be driving my baby this weekend!!! You guys have been extreemley helpful with your posts and I greatly appreciate everyone taking the time to post. Even though it wasnt originally my post, I truly benefited from it... and I'm sure many more did too.

No from what I understood it takes a bit longer if we do ED since the car has to clear the customs...

Dealer just called me too. Just have to arrange for a time of pickup. I'll likely have the dealer install the alarm too, if it hadn't already been done at the VPC.

Okay so they still have to install the alarm. Dealer quoted me $695 for the alarm. As the MSRP for the alarm is $311 on bmwusa.com, I guess the rest of it is labor, reporgramming the on-board computer blah blah blah.

Anyway, will be picking her up next Friday. Another 3 day weekend for me.

I'll post pics then.

I just got back from picking up my car!! This car is freaken awesome!! I will try and take some pictures this weekend and post them up. Thanks to all who contributed to this thread, it was informative and had more information than my dealer could have told me.
