Mongrel Alert!!

With all these pedigree dogs, the balance needs redressing . . . .

Here is Arnie, our Labrador/Collie Cross. A second-hand (rescue) dog, been my best pal and part of the family for the past 13 years. We think he's around 15 now. Old, grey, going deaf, eyesight failing. Dogs are like thier owners!

Happy to be able to take these pictures today. We thought we'd lost him last week - even to the extent that I dug a grave in the garden for him. The Vet didn't think he'd walk out, but he rallied round and confounded us all, thankfully. There may be more problems ahead - can't tell if the mass on his liver is just inflammation or a growth. He seems back to "normal" so we're hoping.

A smile or "Don't mess with my car"???

Mike
he looks like a champ amazing what dogs can battle through

my dog was given two weeks to live in september as she has in inoperable cancerous tumour in one of her vessels

she's still here today, i've just been on the field with her for the past hour with her running rings round puppies 9 years her junior

don't know how long she has left but she's a warrior and makes everyone around her smile.

did anyone catch the martin clunes programme about dogs last night? was really interesting and quite touching.

My two favorite boys. Boxers Wilson (red) and Baxter (brindle)

As you can see poor Wilson is far too placid for his own good!!
