I'm pretty sure this xi was running 91 octane on the dyno and the FBIS dyno was 93 octane with 25% ms109... I could be wrong though

Edit: Also in the original post Shiv said that at this boost level non-xi cars dyno at 550whp on a mustang dyno

Since the vacuum tanks are removed, there is plenty of access to the air filter. You can easily reach in there with a short screwdriver and hand to install/uninstall the air filter.

Correct, all the dyno results are from the in-house Mustang dyno. Expect dynojet numbers to be considerably higher.

+1. It really doesn't take much insight to separate the decent individuals from the not so savory ones on this platform.

Well done Shiv, I remember thinking the front end lift was crazy when you first installed the ST on your personal car, but this is just insane

Oh and I just installed stage 3 maps on my car and I can honestly say that I fell in love with my car all over again. Wow.

From someone who has been driving an xi since June of 2008, I click on this thread, excited to read 4 pages of single turbo xi related news.

What I get is an awesome video, one good related question (from jp of course, which he had to repeat to even get an answer between all of the big muscles being flexed) and a bunch of dogs pissing to claim their marketing territory.

Same shit, different outhouse. Classic!

And people... Just a thought... Those who have the disposable income to buy these ST kits are likely very busy and active people who (hopefully) do not hinge their feelings regarding the ST purchase on Internet strangers' subsequent feedback, which wouldn't even be credible feedback for lack of being first-hand.

Now about making up for the couple of minutes lost reading this thread beyond the first post...

Once I get back to the same state and city as my wonderfully modified Xi we can get some video, vbox times, and anything else the insatiable Internet folks ask for, but until then hopefully we can get Mike B to add some pictures of the install process and keep the info trickling out until I can provide a flood.

It will still take some time to get times, get to a track, and post everything in an intelligible manner between work and life, but I'll do what I can to answer questions as they come

I think this would be very beneficial especially now with the single turbo, to implement this in the procede instead of us having to pull out the fuse!!!!

We will probably not be doing that. If you really need that option, you could wire up a relay with a remote in-dash switch to kill power to that circuit. I haven't tested it myself though.
