Not only is this a HP war, but we are also learning thresholds which lean you two forward to further developed weaker components to sustain these numbers. All positive results which adds great value to this community

Keep it up, just be true to us and publish straight forward results.

Why isn't the graph done with STD smoothing 5 like everybody else uses when they publish a dyno graph? Its really hard to compare results when a different standard is used.

I think the point is to show how smooth the powerband is without needing to turn on smoothing to make it look better

true, but it would be nice to have in 5 just for the sake of apples to apples comparison.

Why would you be sad there is no smoothing? 0 smoothing gives the most accurate representation for people who understand what they are looking at.

Great job on the record, I'm very happy to see you've stepped it up.

May I innocently ask, what octane exactly and what were your fuel trims like and methanol flow? Thanks!

Thank you for explaining that to them. As stated in the first post, we are running ERC 100oct + (plus) methanol. The same 4 nozzle/1300cc/min set-up we run in all the other single turbo cars. Captain Insano has been runnning this for a year. The only maintenance we did was clean out his nozzles recently. They had some residue on them

Good stuff Shiv. Congrats on popping the 700hp cherry.
I can only imagine how insane this is going to feel at 30 psi.

Thanks man! We did a couple runs at 28psi on the dyno. It made more power

The drive back to the shop was exciting.

Nice job. Any plans on running upgraded HPFP with 100% E85 no meth?

Because there is no way to compare apples to apples & Shiv's other "World Record" graphs are 5's so it would be nice to see this one. Cant be too hard to post a smoothing 5 to make the rest of us happy is there?

Klipseracer is right. Smoothing is cheating as even a crappy dyno looks smoother than what it really is. If you know what smoothing is, you know that the graph line goes the same way, but it is just artificially smooth. There is not really any significant difference in the figures. Google up smoothing and you'll understand You should ask all the dynos to display the true data for true comparison rather than artificially smoothed data.

What do you do to the rest of the car to brace it for so much power? Bushings? Subframe? Cooling system? Etc?

Damn. Less than an hour after I read the "almost 700" story. These tuners are nuts.

Damn, insane. I'm having flashbacks to when everyone was at about 450whp with meth now some e9X's are at 700? in-fuking-sane.

Hey shiv, did you increase the boost there at the end? Can you explain the sudden surge in torque? Also, do you have a run without meth that we can look at? I'd really like to see your claims of the new BMW HPFP model substantiated.
