Ok you missed my point. Np(no problem).

Engine A has less cubic inches of displacement(volume) than engine B

Temperature drops 10 degrees

Engine B gains more power than engine A because it has a greater volume of air to work with. Engine B has more to gain from the drop in temperature because it has more cold(dense) air than engine A. More air -> more gas -> bigger explosion = more hp

This is why temperature is not linear with HP for all applications.

Im going to re-direct you to another series of my posts that would be helpful for you and me so i don't have to retype all this.

Once again, the buck doesn't stop here. This is not universal or accurate.

Every motor is like a finger print. They may be similar and they might even look the same but they still are not exact. This is why all N54's don't make the same HP with all environmental variables being equal. Therefor there is no universal temperature constant between them.

You can calculate ~approx hp #'s but that is in no way accurate so don't treat them as such. Once again, calculations are just calculations.

In our case, the car will go to limit mode. Do u think a stupid EVO IX stock can handle 600 HP? Come on now get real. Every single part will all add up into a big picture. THe whole thing about tunning your car is about trial and error. YOu will push your engine to the limit when that baby going to blow up or go to limp mode.
Great, but can you show ONE SINGLE 335i that has added parts until the motor gave up? No, you cant, because no one has done that yet. Which is my point, YOU dont know how much the motor can handle. Your numbers are worthless.

On top of that, it takes MUCH more than just ONE test mule. If engine A throws a rod at Xwhp, that doesn't hold true for engine B. There's still too many variables to draw a solid conclusion from one example.

As far as the Evo, yes a stock block Evo can and will handle 600whp provided the rpm's and boost is kept within reason, and the tune is "safe". That's WHP not flywheel hp by the way. The fact that your calling the Evo stupid just proves my point that you are clueless when it comes to "car technical stuffs"

+1

I like to add: LACA335i will be the first one to have all these parts installed and he will be the first one
to have a blown motor!
