If you are parking and accidently scrape the parking block, the OEM aero lip will most likely not crack (I know this from experience). If you do the same with fiberglass, the chance is much higher (I know this from experience).

Cliffnotes: Everything breaks, that is obvious. Fiberglass breaks more easily.

If you hate fiber glass so much, you still have an option to go with CARBON FIBER!!!

my self and other customers had this kit on their cars for almost a year now; why don't we ask them for the reviews?

For the record, I told someone that their e92kits front bumper looked good.
it does mean something thats the kind of opinion i say does mean something. cuz he actually has it, who was it btw? what did he do im just wondering.

what i was saying is that opinions like boost and canucklion put the e92kit in a really bad light, yet they dont have the kits. if i have issues with my kit some way down the road i would mention it, i dont play favorites. just the uninformed reviews were bothering me.

Okay, we agree about fiberglass? Are you done dancing?

Like I said earlier, I already have received a review from one of your customers.

I'm not the one bashing your product, I'm talking about material here. No need to get so defensive.

I don't want to name him, he can come out on his own if he likes.

I agree what you are saying about uninformed reviews. Like I said before, I think the front bumper looks pretty good and fitment didn't seem to be a problem either.

I've actually seen the E92kit in person, and hey maybe the one I saw was an exception, but it looked bad, the edge were not straight, there were pock marks all over the bumper. So take it for what it's worth, but I've seen their kit in person, and was thoroughly not impressed, I was actually contemplating on buying the kit, but had the chance to see it in person before deciding on it, and I decided against it.

you can complain about aftermarket kits being cheap, yes there are a ton of crap out there, but the OP is asking about the e92kit. The ones who are complaining about aftermarket pieces have absolutely no experience with the ACTUAL e92kits offered by tokion. I have seen first hand the quality of these pieces. you cant just say fiberglass is bad, or aftermarket is bad. everything.... OEM or Aftermarket, is made by 3rd party manufacturers. I've picked up a group buy shipment of the e90 kit by tokion and i have 1st hand experience. the quality is already very top notch, it cant even be mentioned in the same sentence as the other very poorly made kits ive seen 1st hand in aftermarket body shops on civics and integras. Dont just generalize about aftermarket and OEM. there are so many degrees of quality in aftermarket offerings, the quality of the e92kits are grade A. if you dont like the DESIGN aspect, whatever, but dont just ignorantly make comments of its quality. thats just wrong. and to that, i must end with, shut up.

hahaha, that's funny, grouping me together with Europassion. People on this board that I'm unbiased; not affiliated with any vendors. I call a spade when I see one.

you said so yourself, you saw an unprimed, unpainted bumper. have you seen a painted, installed one?

and have you seen an unprimed, unpainted OEM bumper? theyre not a pretty sight, either one.

You sure about the OEM bumper? Edges are definitely straight.

I just picked up an OEM e92 M tech bumper from Long last week and it was flawless, matter of fact, it just looked like a flat silver painted and finished bumper, no defects WHAT SO EVER.

The only thing you need to do to an OEM piece is paint and install it, there is no preping and priming of any kind. And MOST CERTAINLY no smoothening out of defects and pock marks and what not.

sorry, what I meant to say was I saw a painted bumper, and the owner of the bodyshop showed me the imperfections on the bumper, it had pock marks everywhere, he told me that he had to sand it and paint it again. And the edge was not straight, it was wavy.

Like I said, that's what I saw, my opinion, and also the opinion of the bodyshop owner; who has had his bodyshop for 20+ years. Personally, I would not buy it, but if you have had good experience with the bumper, more power to you, and I mean that sincerely.

no offense to u at all. you should have stuck around and taken his re-painted bumper and take it to the next bodyshop and ask for an opinion. the owner would have a field day with it and talk about the inferiority of the job and say he needs to redo the entire thing, the fiberglass is a piece of shit and it will be around 1000$ to redo the paint job. trust me, i went to 2 shops before and they said my PLASTIC roof spoiler was a pos and had pinholes all over it and they needed like 500$ to refinish the surface and paint it. true story... needless to say i said fuck that and left.

moral is, bodyshops are crooks and full of shit.

wow theres a lot of drama here lol, by the same people too. What do you expect when a sideskirt costs $299, yes its not oem. But i'm personally interested in taking the risk. Before I do so though, can anyone please share their experience with JUST these sideskirts? Any issues?

Mtech side skirts cost $350 in comparison. $299 isn't that cheap considering to get the Mtech we have to get them shipped from Europe to Canada and then the U.S..... AND one has to consider material.

I can't offer an opinion on those sideskirts though.

+1, also you get what you pay for right. Since from the old thread they mentioned they toss those old kit just becuase the kits dont meet their standard, i think they have done a good job of keeping their products outstanding.

if someone hit their bodykit against the curb in the parking lot its their fault.

i was trying to make a U-turn but my hartge lip curbed the sidewalk, thank god it didnt break or anything. but if it did, i would prolly be mad at myself. not the company that made it =P

here is some feeback from an owner. Keep in mind, I first had the OEM aero lip on my car, but after seeing dozens of E92's with that lip, I wanted something unique.

The Highs:

*I love the look
*Quality looking part
*Very unique and rare to see on an E92
*Grille is amazing looking
*The bumper doesnt come down lower than OEM, so you dont have any issues with scraping, even being lowered about 2" on HR race springs

The Lows:
*Inner wheel arch its not smooth looking, and is actually thicker than OEM, so my wheels rub on it, but didnt rub when I had the OEM bumper on.
*Around the inside of the headlights (where the bumper meets the headlight next to the kidney grille) is not smooth looking, and is almost jagged when you look at it up close.
* Body shop told me they had issues installing it, even though fitment looks perfect
* I already have 2 small stress cracks where the bumper overlaps on top of the headlight. This is frustrating because I speant alot of money on this bumper, Cost of the part, $350 for paint, $350 for clearbra etc.

THE VERDICT grade: B+, but can easily be made to a grade A with minor modifications.

Great quality part, just make sure you scan the bumper for defects in the wheel arch area, and the headlight openings with the body shop, and make sure they fix any potential problem areas, to make sure you dont have any regrets before spending the money on paint and clearbra. I believe the OEM M-tech full front bumper is around $1000, and the E92kits.com bumper is about $600, so it is alot more affordable, for a unique looking product.

and here was my aero lip for proof:
