where do you get the nozzles from? im using aem injectors, i called them directly but they wont sell me the just the nozzles, they want to sell me the injectors/lines/nozzle all together.....

Any aquamist dealer. Jeff from Howerton engineering is a great resource

Sorry for the long pause between updates. I've been held up by a few things including weather, parts, other priorities. Now that the weather has been a little warmer i've been able to get the car to stick a little better.

Some issues I've been having is 4th gear seems to be a little more sensitive to spray then 3rd. Although i can get minimal spray to over come detonation plus a little head room, it would start to detonate in 4th. By the looks of the logs i could tell it wasn't detonation do to a lean mixture which is odd. Because of this i started street tuning in 4th gear. This made me remove some flow to get the knock count back down and restore timing.
The problem: now i knock in 3rd do to lean meth mixture.

The theory: I believe that the quicker rev'ing 3rd gear is able to consume the higher and needed meth flow where as the slower rev's of 4th actually consumes more mixture due to the longer valve duration etc.

The fix 1: I will probably add a 8th nozzle in the CP. My thought behind this that ill be able to lower the flow right in front of the valves and allow more time for vaporization so that 4th gear wont get as saturated and 3rd gear will have what it needs.

The fix 2: I picked up some M5 that i will experiment with. The difference is that it is mixed with a cousin of nitromethane, has M2 upper cyl lube, and some other combustion additives. It is also known to vaporize much quicker than pure meth and only cost me $1 more per gallon. The thought behind this is that it is designed as a primary race fuel not for secondary injection. Since we use and abuse meth and rely on it quite heavy to be more of a primary fuel rather than a heat absorbent secondary i figured it would be worth trying out.

Right now i find 52-54% injection (procede figures) is the happy medium.

i run 100% meth, i have a barrel and i dont want to go through the trouble of mixing. i want to keep things simple. would you recommend i go with 2 cm5s? for fbo e85 and RBS?

If your talking about the car and set up in this thread then no, no update since the car was totaled. However I'm doing something similar on the next car once I free up the space. All the wiring is done just no plumbing

But I'll be looking forward to any write-ups of your new project if you do document it!

I know I'm posting on an acient post...

When running port meth did you you need to custom tune for it or did the o2's pick it up as a fuel and just adjust from there?
I'd assume the charge pipe was also for real world cooling and the increased benefits of the t map seeing nice and cool...

I'm on a jb4 with an mhd bef
Fbo with inlets and outlets as well
