This. I had a cop pull me over when I had red scoops because he thought they were lights and I was impersonating an officer. He was cool after I explained but I immediately painted them black. I prefer the oem look better I just went with white ones but that's just personal preference. I would just avoid red and blue for the reason mentioned above

It is stupid and illegal to have red angel eyes.

Its the kid's car and he can do what he wants..He gets a ticket, he pays for it...As for opinion, I think it looks pretty rice apart from being illegal. I have seen some shady Civics doing stuff like this. Its a BMW and I would treat it the way it should be, not like a civic or an impala.

That being said, if the kid likes it, thats all that matters right?

Lights behind the grill are definitely impersonating an officer these are rings around the headlights that are there naturally just a dofferent color. Have fun with your stock looking cars guys. Literally got 3 compliments on them just today. Two at the court house (a previous offense) and one on the way home

yeah I had one in my old car as well as a switch that went to fuel pump. It was an "even if you can get into my car, you probably can't start it" sorta switch.

The output is advertised at like 16watts but we all know how that goes and I live in a very quite portion of southern california. Albeit we do have some seriously strict rules (being California and all) but the ones they seem to care about the most here are the ones that regard emissions. I'll take a better picture of the halos because they do actually put out significant light the first picture was just a bad one.
