Even with the stock D16 single cam motor running moderate (8-10psi) boost, he will be making around 250whp. That may not sound intimidating, but remember that car weighs at least 1,000 lbs. less than a 335i. A fully built single cam 1.6 can make 450whp or more. A fully built K24 could be making more than 700whp.

Bottom line is: it's not terribly difficult or expensive to get a stripped out Civic hatch to run 120+ mph traps... A difficult task for a stock-turbo 335i.

I was just at Import Face Off at Las Vegas Motor Speedway yesterday and watched a civic run an 8.xx 1/4, a few others run super low 9's and maybe half a dozen more run 10's. So, to think Hondas/fwd can't be fast is just ignorant.

Yep and you can easily squeeze out 400-450WHP on a stock K20 too.

360WHP is fast on a car that weighs nothing and it's probably under 2400lbs.

As soon as the Honda guys came over to me and said do you want to run it. I said what do you have? They would always say, "stock motor" with a turbo.

9/10 it was a civic hatch, with a k20 swap pushing sub 400WHP.

Run him for fun , to give you a bit of an advantage run him from a dig with race gas on map 7 and hope for the best. If he's a shitty driver you might be able to pull it off. What ever you do don't roll race him!

Where can I get race gas here in canada? Or 100 octane? The highest octane gas we have is 94. Should I get one of those octane boosters?
